My wife and I spent 4 nights in Minneapolis and are sooo happy we chose Margots' place. The place is incredibly well maintained, surprisingly spacious and has all the amenities one could think of. Little things like providing you with laundry detergent, pc, printer, fresh fruits (including a mango, in Minneapolis!!) really set them apart from all the other accomodation providers. Moreover, the place is only a 7-10 minute walk away from a stop on the Hiawatha line, making it great for people relying on public transport to get around. It was clear to us that Margots and his partner goes out of their way to provide guests with an affordable dwelling with all the creature comforts you would want in your own home.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Everything was as listed - in fact, pictures don't do it justice. It was cute and cozy. The washing machine\dryer combo was a bonus that we didn't even think about. The owner was personable and quick to help. The kitchen was well equipped to handle normal cooking uses. Love our stay!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

I was in Minneapolis for the birth of a granddaughter and Thanksgiving and one of my sons found this VERY nice apartment for me. It is well furnished, with a comfortable king-size bed, flat-screen TV, WiFi, jet tub and plenty of towels in the bathroom, new kitchen appliances including a dishwasher, ice maker in the refrigerator, microwave and regular ovens, office space, and a private deck. It would be even more delightful in the summertime, with a large lower deck and nice yard with a playground for children. Margots was very helpful and accommodating, and they even added extra touches such as fresh flowers, fresh fruit, and coffee beans for the built-in grinder in the coffee maker. I was so comfortable and happy there that I didn't want to leave! I highly recommend this apartment.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This loft was absolutely perfect and had everything we could ask for. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We went and stayed there while we ran the twin cities marathon and were so glad we did. There is a grocery store close by and we cooked there. The morning of the marathon we took the light rail down to the metrodome which worked out perfect for avoiding all the traffic. After the marathon the jacuzzi tub was great and the king size bed is ssssooooo comfortable. You have your own balcony with a grill that we took advantage of and a huge tv in the living area. The owner even allowed us to have our small dog. Thanks Margots for letting us enjoy your wonderful loft!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We enjoyed our week-long stay here. "Good" = 10 minute walk to light rail station and several restaurants; easy access to bike trails, etc. Very considerate and responsive owner [Margots]. Highly recommended. We were an older couple with an adult daughter. Only shortfall was that wifi was not operating during our stay.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed five days at Margots and Anita's wonderful apartment in Minneapolis when we visited our son in law school. This apartment was all we could hope for and more than promised. It was immaculate with everything we could possibly need, including plenty of towels and a washer and dryer. Anita was very attentive and met us at the door even though our delayed plane made us two hours late. We loved the deck off the front hallway and had coffee with our paper out there each morning. We entertained two other couples on evening using the downstairs deck and grill. The location is great, about three blocks from the light rail. I highly recommend this apartment. We will stay here again. Thank you Margots and Anita.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Minnehaha Lofts is a beautifully furnished, clean, well stocked and comfortable apt. I loved the jacuzzi tub, especially after having arrived after three weeks of hiking and a long flight. Margots was unfailingly gracious, generous and flexible; he even picked us up from the airport after midnight in a thunderstorm. Midtown is not my favorite part of S. Minneapolis, but the house is in a pleasant residential neighborhood and the city's "Nice Ride" bicycles (as well as Light Rail) are a short walk away. Having the option to rent the house car was a great bonus.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This 2nd story "apartment" is impressive and the owners have remodeled and decorated it very nicely (high quality and new). There are many added extras and amenities throughout the place to make guests feel welcome; fresh flowers, huge tv w/HBO, water bottles, laptop w/internet connection, coffee maker w/beans. The private deck has beautiful plants and overlooks a very nice yard.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We had to make an unexpected trip to MN and were in a rush to find something immediately. The owners responded quickly to our inquiry and were so accommodating and friendly. We use VRBO regularly and found this apartment to be one of the nicest we have stayed at. From the wonderfully apponted kitchen, separate office area with WI-FI and printer, great living room, large bathroom with washer and dryer to the large comfortable bed, everything was neat, clean and fully stocked. There is a grill and patio for your private use, separate entrance, fenced back yard and parking area off the street. The location is perfect. Ten minutes to downtown Minneapolis, 15 minutes to the Mall of America, 15 minutes to St. Paul. There is a lightrail train within walking distance I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy what Minneapolis has to offer without the traffic and noise. It definitely is a haven.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
