South Minneapolis at its best...such a pleasure I didn't want to leave!

This apartment turned what might have been an okay Minneapolis experience into a wonderful one. I found it a productive place to read and write (and a comfortable place to procrastinate those tasks!). From the king-size bed to the whirlpool tub to the well-equipped kitchen to the sunny deck, there's no better way to start one's day. The woodwork is gorgeous and the space has been furnished with care. There's plenty of natural light. The location is convenient to the University of Minnesota campus and some terrific south Minneapolis cafes (I recommend Peace Coffee and the Birchwood). A new food co-op is nearby. I negotiated a low joining fee at the YWCA that's three blocks away. The light rail goes directly to the airport. Because I was a long-term guest, I got to know the hosts. I know that previous reviewers have already said so, but I'll repeat it for emphasis: Margots and Anita are lovely people-- thoughtful, helpful, and accommodating. They met my specific needs, which included having a dog and renting a car from them during my stay. Plus I discovered that I am very fond of Latvian pastries.

We are Arizona residents who spend our summers in Minneapolis where we have family and friends. Our summer was spent in this cozy, one bedroom apartment which was beautifully decorated and maintained in addition to having many nice amenities, including a large flat screen television, washer, dryer and new kitchen appliances. The highlight of our stay was the graciousness of our hosts, who went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and enjoyed our time there. We look forward to renting from them next summer.

My family and I stayed in this apartment for a week, the apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished. We felt right at home. The backyard was perfect for my two year old who loved playing on the swing set, I highly recommend this place if you have children. The location was also ideal; only a few blocks away from the light rail which brings you to either the Mall of America or downtown Minneapolis. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a place to stay in Minneapolis.

This was a perfect place to stay while visiting my daughter in Minneapolis. The location, in a nice, established neighborhood, is very near downtown. The apartment was even better than described. What a pleasant surprise. It was well stocked with bottled water, coffee, cereal, juice and more. The owners bent over backwards to make sure I was comfortable. I am looking forward to staying there when I visit Minneapolis again.

Anita and Margots are gracious hosts and they have thought about every amenity to make your stay comfortable. The apartment has been remodeled so the bathroom and kitchen are modern and well supplied. The bedroom is comfortable and the living room has a large flat screen t.v and even a fine stereo. There is also a balcony and grill. Our 3 year old grandson enjoyed their play area behind the house. A real winner in the twin cities.

Margots and Anita made us feel completly at home while we were back in Minneapolis visiting our family. It was so wonderful coming "home" each night to our sweet little hideaway. They were the most gracious hosts, by first picking us up at the airport then renting the car to us and lastly sharing a beautifully prepared Latvian meal with us. We so enjoyed our stay and will be back as often as we can. I also loved that we were able to do laundry while we were there, a great added amenity.

We absolutely loved your place. We are originally from Minneapolis and are familiar with the area. It's in a perfect location to get anywhere. The alleys were a bit tricky with all the snow we've had this year, but Margots had everything plowed out and sidewalks shoveled we didn't get stuck. We had our own private entrance so we didn't disturb anyone coming and going. The personal touches with the fresh flowers, fruit bowl, fresh coffee, and chocolate were lovely. The place is even nicer than the pictures. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Twin Cities. We will definitely return.

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for four nights. We loved everything about it from its exceptional owners and their hospitality to the bikes we borrowed to the whirlpool tub to the location! Before we booked this rental, I contacted the owner and he was very quick to respond back and answered all my questions efficiently. He picked us up and delivered us back to the airport. He provided us with information on eating locales, grocery stores, bike paths, and the metro line. The location of this apartment made it easy for us to fit in all we wanted to do the four days we were there: a play at the Guthrie Theater, a Vikings Game, 25 mile bike ride around 5 lakes, and a full day at Mall of America. It was wonderful to come "home" to the comforts of this apartment after our full days of adventure. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a nice, quiet place to stay. The host family was quiet downstairs, The neighborhood was quiet and enjoyable to walk through. The balcony and whirlpool tub are retreats all on their own. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Do not hesitate in renting this apartment!

Very cozy homey apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Carefully appointed for the guests' comfort. Lovely owners, extremely accommodating in all ways, beyond the call of duty. I felt instantly at home here and with these non-obtrusive hosts nearby. I would gladly return.

This place is perfect for a relaxing stay in the Twin Cities. Very accomadating owners. They'll pick you up at the airport and allow use of a car and bikes. The midtown location is great for access to restaurants, light rail, museams, shopping, freeways, etc. It is a quiet location on tree lined avenues. The apartment is well decorated and includes a full kitchen, big screen TV, computer with WiFi access, Washer/Dryer, and a great king bed. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting the Twin Cities. Much better than hotel life.
