Come enjoy this waterfront family-friendly house. The property is situated on one acre with 275 feet of beautiful private waterfront! Relax on the private beach, or launch your boat from the key card entry boat launch, then tie up to the private dock located on the property.
Enjoy waking up to a dramatic sunrise to start your day. Drink that morning cup of coffee on the covered screened back porch overlooking the water. While outside be on the lookout for the magnificent bald eagles that nest in the immediate area.
There is a playset for the kids. We have a video library to share. Also we provide a canoe for your use on the property. There are also a couple of local wineries to tour for the aficionado. You can play all day on the water, which is always deep enough at our dock site for your boat, or do nothing but relax and soak up the sun.
This side of the lake is much sought after for it's warm water temperature between April and November. The water is clear with a sandy bottom great for swimming. Enjoy excellent skiing and tubing.
Even during peak summer holidays this side of the lake is less congested with calmer waters than the public "cold" side. Bring your boat, jet skis, fishing poles, and suntan lotion to this one of a kind getaway!

Please note: Because we are on the "warm side of the lake the water temperature in late summer gets hot. It's great for water sports. We recommend you have a boat to seek cooler swimming areas at this time of year. We do not refund for water temperature or weather conditions. Please research Lake Anna if you have never stayed here before. The whole lake was built by Dominion Power to cool their nuclear power plant. And no, the fish do not glow, and do not have 4 eyes.

We were attracted to move to the area because of the beautiful lake. We lived full-time in the house for 10 years before renting. We have had to move for employment, but don't want to give up the house.

I like to read, sew, walk, and watch movies. I have enjoyed working in the local school system for 6 years. My husband is a car nut, and works as an engineer in the automotive industry. We have a seventh grade daughter, and also two grown children who live in the area.

Beautiful, quiet lakeside home with large yard, swing-set, dock, private sandy beach, canoe and warm water! Home was spotless clean, fully furnished with great kitchen, large grill and enough room for parents, kids and dogs to have their own space (and separation!). Screened in porch and deck were great for early morning coffee and views of the lake. A perfect location for the local water sports, with a boat launch down the road. No issues with loud boats or wave runners around the house. Talking with the owner was more like talking to family rather than a landlord. They are very friendly and accommodating. No problem with bringing our 2 dogs, and no issues with cleaning deposits. We were there over Mother's Day weekend and to participate in local triathlons. We are already planning to come back in October for the next triathlon!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with young children.

We just returned home from our week at the house. All five kids(14yrs to 16mths) had a blast!! The private beach area was a perfect size for the family. The older ones loved jumping from the dock and the youngest loved digging in the sand--she also learned two new words while there--boat and geese:) The playset was great to have. We had so much fun. The house is adorable. Hoping to come back next year.
