Villa Rosa – Luquillo is located right on the beach.
Not near the beach, not close to the beach, it is on the beach. It is a three story house with lots of room for you and your family and friends to spread out and enjoy the beauty of Puerto Rico.
The house has five bedrooms, four baths, a fully equipped modern kitchen, living room, dining room, den, game room and two large porches. One porch is screened in and and has a 7 person spa.
The house sleeps fourteen; the first floor has a den with a queen size sofa bed and the living room has a double futon bed. The second floor has 4 bedrooms, three with queen-size beds and one with two twin beds.
The master suite is on the third floor with incredible mountain and ocean views, a Jacuzzi tub, stand alone shower and two sinks. The house is about 4000 square feet. There are many beaches in the area but the best news is that your 50 feet of backyard leads straight onto the soft sandy beach and into the clear-blue ocean.
Never heard of 'La Capital del Sol', Luquillo? VillaRosa – Luquillo is located on Playa Fortuna in this “Sun Capital”. The city is perfectly located between the lush tropical mountains of El Yunque Rainforest and the warm waters of the Caribbean.
It lends its name to the famous and beautiful Luquillo beach, which boasts complete balneario facilities and delicious refreshments from the traditional 'kioscos'. Luqillo is fifteen minutes from El Yunque, as well as from the port city of Fajardo, where you can take the ferry for day/weekend trips to the nearby Puerto Rican islands of Vieques & Culebra, or take an evening tour on the bioluminescent bay.
Luquillo is also very close to the large hotel resorts and casinos such as CoCo Beach, Wyndham Rio Mar, and El Conquistador, boasting some of the best golf courses as well as shops, restaurants, and all of the other amenities of resort living.
The Wyndham Rio Mar is the closest - you can walk less than 30 minutes along the beach and arrive at the resort, where they have beach facilities and water sports equipment for rent.
Best of all, when the day is over, you can retreat home to the comfort of your house and its semi-private beach.

Why the Owner Chose Luquillo
I originally came to Puerto Rico to spend a full month with my then-11-year-old daughter. We toured the entire island by car and immediately fell in love with "la isla del encanto" - with the tropical rainforests, the historical cities of Ponce and San Juan, and the natural wonders of the Cordillera Central ... not to mention the beauty of the two smaller islands, Vieques and Culebra. It wasn't until 8 years later that I came back to Puerto Rico in search of the perfect vacation spot, this time with my husband. We found just what we were looking for in Luquillo. The breathtaking beach, running miles and miles along the coast, was the first selling point. Furthermore, Luquillo was so close to El Yunque Rainforest and the port town of Fajardo, allowing easy access to our favorite little island, Culebra. As we did more research, we noticed how friendly the people and how peaceful the area. Luquillo became the perfect spot for our family - kids and grandkids - and we hope it will be the same for you and that you will “Make Our Home Yours”!

The Unique Benefits of this House
Most vacation rentals in Luquillo are condos in high-rises, with “public beach access” only. But this is not the case at VillaRosa - Luquillo. When you stay here, you are literally on the beach when you step out your backdoor. Furthermore, our area of the beach is more private, because it is surrounded by residences; however, the public areas are only a short walk away. Lastly, the Puerto Rican neighborhood is not commercialized or touristy, yet very safe and family friendly. One of our favorite pastimes is enjoying a homemade “limber”, an iced sorbet made with a fresh fruit (mango, coconut, banana, etc.), which we buy from our neighbors. Staying here, you will get to see a side of Puerto Rico most never experience.
