Located at Southbay by the Gulf, a private community of individually owned townhomes in beautiful Destin Florida. This family oriented complex is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico with 300 feet of breathtaking white sandy beach and beautiful emerald green water.

Southbay by the Gulf, in the heart of Destin, is located half-way
between the Destin bridge and the Mid-bay toll bridge (three miles
from each). Southbay is complete with all the amenities: 2 pools
with adjoining kiddie pool, 2 tennis courts, and shuffle board, and fully stocked 5 acre fresh spring fed coastal lake.

Our home away from home is located just 120 yards from the beach,
and rare to Destin, has no streets to cross, no high-rise to deal
with, less than a minute to the pool and tennis courts, and is an
end unit on the south-side of the lake. The kitchen is fully
equipped for the finest chef, with ample eating area. Recent
renovations and redecorating such as new granite countertops in the kitchen
and a new electric grill sets our home apart from the rest. Each bedroom has
its own private bath, and comfortable mattresses. Our home is baby friendly and includes a
pack-n-play, safety gate, high chair, and outlet covers so you have less to worry about packing.

You will enjoy breathtaking views of the 5 acre lake from our two
generously sized decks off the Livingroom and Master Bedroom.
Imagine enjoying your morning coffee looking at the beautiful view
of the water. The children will enjoy feeding the ducks, turtles,
and fishing right from your own private deck while you prepare
dinner on your own electric grill.

We especially enjoyed the closet of pool and beach items that were available for our use. Our children called it the closet of fun. We will certainly consider your condo again on future visits.

  • This trip was my fourth stay in Destin. Staying at the Reynold's condo in Southbay is my favorite and I hope to return to it in the future. The complex has a family atmosphere and my family enjoyed being there very much. The condo is spacious, very attractive and well accommodated. I appreciate the coffee and the water left for us as we arrived. Acess to the pool, tennis court, and beach was quite easy and only took 3-5 minutes to walk. Grocery stores are quite close by and the trip to the harbour took less than 15 minutes in moderate traffic. Thank you for a lovely week.

  • This condo was wonderful but more than that the hospitality that the Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds showed us was amazing. They greeted us with treats and a sweet card. The condo is fully furnished with everything you can imagine, you honestly don't need to bring anything. This was the best vacation we have had and my husband was on his R&R from overseas so it meant that much more to us. The relaxing home away from home atmosphere could not be matched. Every year (for the last 15) when we've come to Destin we try to find a better condo. We've stopped looking now that we found this one. Terrific location, beautiful decorating, terrific owners--believe me, they're not all like Fred and Del.

  • My wife and three kids spent spring vacation at the Reynold's condo in March of 06 and would highly recommend their condo. We went down with four other families that stayed in the same complex, and each family that came through our condo commented on how clean our's was and what a better view we had from the top deck overlooking the lake. I visited all of their condo's and we definitely got the pick of the lot. The only bad thing I can say is that the unit was so well equipped, all the other families wanted to hang out at our place every night instead of their own. We had a great time.

  • Each year our family vacations in Destin. We have stayed at SouthBay for about 4 times. Your unit was by far the most comfortable and well-equipped unit that we have rented. It was also exceptionally clean. Fred and Del were great to work with as well. I will be back next summer and I am hoping to squeeze in a fall trip too.
