We spent 6 weeks at this delightful condo and didn't want to leave. It is a great location close to grocery stores and many restaurants. It is a short walk to the beach and we spent many days walking in the sand. The condo was clean and well supplied with anything you would need. We did some entertaining and there is plenty of room for several couples at the dining room table. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were good sized. It has been remodeled and has lovely nautical decor. We are sailors and felt right at home with the relaxing pictures and decorations. The upper deck has a view of a beautiful lake and we had our morning coffee there. If you are a bird watcher you will see many different kinds of shore birds. The owners treat you like you are their good friends. We have never met them but they were helpful whenever we called them with questions. They called us a few times while we were staying in the condo to see if we needed anything. By the end of our stay we wanted to meet them because they welcome you into their home and they do whatever it takes for you to enjoy your stay. We did a lot of biking in the area. We put over 400 miles on our bikes. There are many bike trails, we enjoyed riding highway 30A and the Gulf Coast between Navarre Beach and Pensacola Beach. We would recommend this condo to anyone. We are Snowbirds but the condo would work well for families with children too. It is very child friendly with games, movies, and beach toys. We will stay here again whenever we visit Destin since it had everything we needed.

What beautiful weather! Cool & Crisp at night and warm and breezy during the day. The storm front came through and the ocean was powerful; especially viewing at night. All together, we had a great time!

What started off as a headache soon became a great two weeks. We thank you very much for allowing us to stay on such a short notice. But these two weeks have been absolutely fantastic. We had a great stay! The condo was exactly what we had wanted - perfect for a family. It was well taken care of, clean, and in the perfect location with a short stroll to the beautiful beach. They even have a book waiting for you that has menus and fun things to do. Thank you so much. We highly recommend this vacation get away.

My wife and children truly enjoyed our stay in your condo. The location by the lake was nice and the short walk to the pool and beach was great. We especially enjoyed the closet of pool and beach items that were available for our use. Our children called it the closet of fun. We will certainly consider your condo again on future visits.

This trip was my fourth stay in Destin. Staying at the Reynold's condo in Southbay is my favorite and I hope to return to it in the future. The complex has a family atmosphere and my family enjoyed being there very much. The condo is spacious, very attractive and well accommodated. I appreciate the coffee and the water left for us as we arrived. Acess to the pool, tennis court, and beach was quite easy and only took 3-5 minutes to walk. Grocery stores are quite close by and the trip to the harbour took less than 15 minutes in moderate traffic. Thank you for a lovely week.

This condo was wonderful but more than that the hospitality that the Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds showed us was amazing. They greeted us with treats and a sweet card. The condo is fully furnished with everything you can imagine, you honestly don't need to bring anything. This was the best vacation we have had and my husband was on his R&R from overseas so it meant that much more to us. The relaxing home away from home atmosphere could not be matched. We will return in the not so distant future! Thanks Fred and Del.

This was our seventh stay at Southbay, second with Fred and Del and we're planning to be back again next year. Every year (for the last 15) when we've come to Destin we try to find a better condo. We've stopped looking now that we found this one. Terrific location, beautiful decorating, terrific owners--believe me, they're not all like Fred and Del.

My wife and three kids spent spring vacation at the Reynold's condo in March of 06 and would highly recommend their condo. We went down with four other families that stayed in the same complex, and each family that came through our condo commented on how clean our's was and what a better view we had from the top deck overlooking the lake. I visited all of their condo's and we definitely got the pick of the lot. The only bad thing I can say is that the unit was so well equipped, all the other families wanted to hang out at our place every night instead of their own. We had a great time.

Each year our family vacations in Destin. We have stayed at SouthBay for about 4 times. Your unit was by far the most comfortable and well-equipped unit that we have rented. It was also exceptionally clean. Fred and Del were great to work with as well. I will be back next summer and I am hoping to squeeze in a fall trip too.

Dear Fred and Del, Thank your for letting us use your condo. We've been coming to Destin for springbreak for 14 years now, this was our 5th at Southbay and your condo was the best so far. We love the location, near the water, but not with the gulf-front cost; no road to cross and no high rise. The condo itself was wonderfully equipped. I've leaarned to bring down extra things like knives, cleaning supplies etc for the kitchen but I didn't need them. Yours was the best equipped yet, even down to the coffee grinder. We really enjoyed all the extras such as the CD and DVD player, the grill and especially the porches over-looking the lake. It was beautifully decorated and with plenty of storage. Finally, the phone call to welcome us and to make sure everything went well was really appreciated. We've never had an owner do that before. We'll be back next year. Thanks again.

My wife and I rented the unit for the month of October 2003 with various freinds and family passing through for the month. It is beautifully maintained with a great location overlooking a small lake. After 2 days, we had the gulls, ducks, geese and turtles trained to their feeding at our cocktail hour- a lot of fun. Destin has beautiful beaches, great shopping and wonderful resturants all in walking distance. What a great location. Please sign us up for next year
