The Banyan Peninsula: A luxurious private gated estate on 1 1/4 acres with water on three sides that has the finest of everything you need for thr ultimate Florida Keys vacation, including a PRIVATE BEACH, a 50 X 20 ft Great Room, four bedrooms with en-suite Baths accomodating eight guests.
This beautiful estate boasts one of the most magnificent locations in the Florida Keys. In addition to the private beach, this compound has a SWIMMING POOL, a FISHING DOCK, and a 200-foot BOAT DOCK. The property has an on site grounds keeper and is maintained meticulously.
The pool area is enclosed with shade screen and is lavishly furnished with lounge chairs, comfortable seating areas and tables, surrounded in beautiful plantings, giving it the feel of a tropical paradise. Just off the pool area is a 20-foot OUTDOOR BAR which overlooks the water. It includes an outdoor grilling area, refrigerator, ice maker, sink, and stemware as well as a TV/DVR and Bahama fans.
The private beach is equally magnificent, with soft, white sand, lounge chairs, tiki torches and a hammock, and it is by far the best location to sit and watch the sunset.
Every room in this home has a spectacular view. The furnishings are luxurious, decorated in a Bahamian style. The great room is over 1000 square feet, and has 24-foot wide floor to ceiling doors on both ends that open completely for open-air living. The room has an entertainment area with a 52” Hi Def/DVR television and DVD player, formal seating area, card table, dining table, wet bar, and a desk. The home is equipped with wireless internet. The kitchen is outfitted with virtually every amenity, including a dishwasher, two ovens, a microwave, pantry, food processor, blender, 5 burner stovetop, sink, prep sink, etc.
The home has four bedrooms with en-suite baths. Two bedrooms are master bedrooms, one on the first floor, and the other on the second floor. Each has king size beds, sitting areas, sliding full height windows that that bring the outdoors inside, spacious bathrooms with oversized showers, closet space, and fabulous views. The third bedroom is upstairs. This bedroom has two full-size beds, a private bathroom with an oversized shower, and of course, fabulous views. The fourth bedroom is downstairs. This bedroom has a queen size bed, private bath, and two doors, one leading to the pool area, the other to a secluded garden, looking out to an enormous Banyon tree.

My family and my best friend's family stayed at this home for one week in June 2011. I had seen the pictures and the placed looked ok. When we arrived, I felt like I had won a prize called, The Most Beautiful Vacation Spot Ever! It was unreal. Private beach, just feet away from the house. A fishing dock, boat dock, beautiful landscaping, inground salt water pool, outdoor bar....no detail was left undone. I hope to go back every summer!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a beautiful home with every amenity. We loved the private beach, the kayaks, the screened in pool, and the wonderful grounds. A caretaker lives in a separate place on site ready to light the tiki lamps for the outdoor barbecue. The rental agent was very responsive. It doesn't get any better than this!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
