  We had a lovely stay in our condo. The proximity to downtown, of course, is a huge plus! The condo was immaculate, and all of the little touches, from a welcome basket, laundry soap, and cooking spices to the well-stocked kitchen cupboards, bathrobes and nice decor, were very much appreciated. Darik and Sally were very professional in dealing with the details of our stay from start to finish. We would most definitely stay again on a return trip to Seattle! Thanks Urban Oasis!

• Urban Oasis is awesome!

  We arrived on Saturday, August 28th. Directions that were given were perfect from the airport. We were also given a cellphone number to call on our way so management would know we'd be arriving shortly. Everything on arrival went smoothly. We had a few hiccups - such as - didn't realize most places in Seattle aren't air conditioned (but open window and fans worked fine), and we had conficting information about where to put the parking tag - one place said the rear view mirror and the other said driver's side dash. We picked rear view mirror and got a ticket the first night). But everytime we had an issue we were able to get it resolved. Everyone was polite and helpful. The location was awesome!! Right in the middle of the downtown area. We walked everywhere and discovered Olympic Sculpture Park just blocks from the apartment. It was a great place to jog and run and also had beatiful views. We plan to go back next September and to stay at The Urban Oasis. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we visit Seattle.

  Owner response: Thanks for your kind words, glad you enjoyed yourself! Due to our temperate climate, only about 30% of homes/apartments/condos in Seattle area have Air Conditioning. This particular building does not have central air, and the way the windows open, window/portable A/C's aren't an option either. We do provide plenty of fans, and typically other than the 3-6pm hottest part of the day window, these units get great circulation and cool off quickly as it sounds like you noticed! We do have other units in a neighboring building that do have portable A/C's as well so if that is something you are looking for next time, let us know and we can make sure you're in one of those units if available! I do recommend planning ahead, and if you are looking to book dates in September, if possible book by March or April as our Summer season of June-September dates do go quickly! • Great Condo in the Heart of Belltown

  My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The condo is located right in the heart of Belltown which provides walking access to may great bars and tourist attractions including pikes place and the space needle. The condo also had its own parking which was huge sice parking is a real pain. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a place to stay in Seattle.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.
