  We stayed at the one-bedroom cottage last year, so we are familiar with the cottages in general. This year we were in the two-bedroom, and like last year, loved it. The space was big enough for us and our two large Bernese Mountain Dogs, and it even had a little fenced in back yard. When we wanted to cook, we could do so; eating out was easy, as there were several nice places easily accessable nearby. Getting to the beach was easy - there was a public beach access about a hundred yards away, and walking to it was a piece of cake. There was even an ice cream stand close by to handle that after-dinner-ice cream urge. We'll definately be back!

  Stayed at this adorable cottage with my daughter and a friend just before Memorial Day. It is just as pictured in the photos and has a great location - across the street and just a few houses up to the public access which is next to Nags Head Pier. We had everything we needed and the cottage is cozy and peaceful. My friend called it "pink rustic!" We took the owner's advice and ate at Tortugas Lie (great!) and Sam & Omie's (great breakfast). If you plan on driving down to Ocracoke, be sure to get up and drive straight down to the Hatteras ferry (took about an hour) because the lines to get onto the ferry start backing up quickly! The ferry ride is 40 minutes over. Ocracoke Village is charming and there are lots of little shops and places to eat. I highly recommend the Flying Melon Cafe! The beaches there are awesome as well! I definitely recommend the Sea Spray Cottages and would stay here again!

  The cottage was adorable and had everything we needed. Loved everything from the decor (shabby chic!) to the enclosed yard for the dogs. It felt like home!

  I have stayed in many beach houses but this one was by far the best! The decor took me back to my childhood days when a beach cottage was excactly that a "beach cottage." Everything you needed was available. The porch was a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and relaxing in the evening. I did not want to leave the adorable, peaceful setting. I am definitely going to book a fall get away! I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a great place to step back and relax, Also breakfast at the pier was wonderful.

  This is a super place for a small group such as ours. The photos and descriptions provided us with a complete and accurate understanding of the cottage. Upon arrival we found the cottage perfectly clean and fresh, with all items operational and many little extras provided to help us get started on enjoying the stay. The owner's website is a must read as it provides great suggestions on places to visit for food, play and activities. We especially enjoyed the Tortuga's Lie for super fresh food at fair prices. We'll be back ASAP!

  We stayed in this cottage foe St patricks Day weekend. Walking distance to some great watering holes. Our 2 dogs loved having a fenced in yard that is shared with an ajoining house. Beautiful "Old Nags Head" restored with modern amenities. This was the second time we have stayed in Sea Spray Cottages. #4 the first time which is also very nice.

  WOW...What a great place. We really enjoyed our vacation to your wonderful cozy cottage. Everything was great. Its a wonderful place for our small family and dog. The fenced in yard was a must! Irene gave us an unwanted visit at the end of our week, so we didn't get to stay the enitre time--but the time we did stay was unforgetable. Thanks again. :)

  We had a wonder time in what turned out to be some of the hottest days of the year. The house was perfect for myself, mother and aunt as well as my dog. The enclosed porch and side yeard make it so easy to bring your dog along. The beach is just across the street and down a bit as well as shopping, restaurants and the Pier for great fishing. Great place to come and relax especially if you like a cottage and not the big overdone homes along the shore line.

  This was great. Everything was just as described. Loved the interior taking us back in time with all the modern convinces right there. John the owner is so helpful and wonderful to deal with. One thing which will be a bonus to some is the back door leads off a small deck pictured to a fully enclosed back yard for your pet if needed. Pictures do not show that. We will be returning again.

Cottage #3 rents WEEKLY ONLY June 2 - August 31; (we will rent nightly during this period if the cottage is not booked a week prior to an available date).
