We had, as usual, a wonderful time. This is the greatest place in the world to "get away from it all". Fishing wasn't good - too windy and rough. Next week will probably be great. Be back in June & plan to come back next Oct.

We had a great time. Saw lots of gators and took lots of pictures. We LOVE it here! Visited St. Marks, Wakulla Springs!! Weather was windy, but still caught a few trout!! I'll be back in May with the guys to fish all weekend!! Thanks- K.

Thanks again for renting your place to us. We had a great time, the weather was good, and we caught the fish. The second day with Jody as our guide, we caught the 15 trout limit. Most of them were right on 15 inches. Thennnnnnn we started catching some big ones-and alas we had to return them to their home. I caught a 21 inch that was released. That's like a real temptation to throw an ice cold small one back and keep it. But we didn't. Hope we can set the next date to coincide with your schedule. We'll probably go in Oct. or Nov. We enjoyed Christmas here so much that we had to come back for a birthday weekend. Love the new dishes - they're perfect with the decor. We'll definitely be back again! Now my entire family, including my 70-yr. old Mom, is addicted to pool. (She never played in her life until we came here!) We had a great time :-)

Caught lots of wonderful memories: Wakulla Lodge & boat tour with tons of alligators & birds & turtles; Alligator Point with no alligators, but a beautiful beach stroll; bought fresh scallops, shrimp, oysters at Panacea ... also fried Cajun-boiled peanuts. (Don't know why or how they are "world famous"!) Thanks for the lovely home we could return to at the end of each adventure.

Everything was in good order. Thanks for such a neat place. The fishing was tremendous. The first day we caught a few trout. The boat I was in got three bites all day-my only one was a catfish. The second day was cold and windy. We went into an old creek bed and immediately began catching the red fish-many,many too small to keep. All of a sudden the big ones swam in and we caught 10 of those just under 27 inches (keepers). With the limitation, we had to throw back 7. But it was great fun wrestling with those big ones; it took about 10 to 15 minutes to land each. Hope we can make it that well next time. Thanks again for letting us use your place. Rev. My brother and I enjoyed this so. It was not a vacation, because we were here for my aunt's funeral. But, at night when we came here, we felt like home here. You have a very nice place! It made this sad trip a little brighter. Thanks!

The place is beautiful! We had a great time. Keith caught a 31" cobia and many sharks. Glenn's boat caught several sheepshead. Trout fishing was off, but still caught some.

Just wanted to write you a quick note to let you know we had a great time at your place. Tom and Will who are 5 and 3 years old (almost - their birthdays are 8/25 and 26) had the best time at the beach finding hermit crabs. We weren't too keen on swimming there because of all the crabs and the water had a high bacteria count because of all the rain and hurricane (according to your neighbor Gloria), but it was great for the kids to see "sea life" so to speak. We drove to Carrabelle beach on Wednesday and then to St. George Friday and Saturday and stayed there all day. The water was clear - more the greenish-blue water we're used to. We even saw a 1 1/2 to 2 foot shark on Saturday. Tom was standing at the water's edge and said "look at the big fish" and my husband said "uh, Tom, that's a shark...." it was startling but fun to see. The pool opened the day we arrived so that worked out great as well. On Sunday Tom and Will borrowed your fishing poles and some kids gave them shrimp for bait and they each caught a little 6" fish. The highlight was right before we left when we saw two baby alligators off of your dock. Oh the excitement! Thanks again. Sincerely, Debbie, Evert, Tom and Will Duin

Great place! So nice and clean. 3 days of fishing - 25+ keeper trout to 20", some BIG Spanish mackerel and cobia, flounder, sharks, etc. Great trip! Thanks! We will be back!

We had a great time. Caught a lot of fish on the first day, but it was slim the second day. We really enjoyed staying in your beach home. It worked out well for us with the 5 fishermen. Will be in touch as soon as we set another date to fish. By the way, Capt. Jerry Alexander is the other guide we have been using for about 10 years. I gave him one of your cards because he said he has some customers who need accomodations. We bragged so about your place, he wanted your card to perhaps accomodate his fishermen clients.

Debbie, thanks so much for the nice accomodations for our fishing trip. You really have a nice, comfortable and Hospitable home away from home for us fishermen. We felt so welcome with the hospitality sack- it was the cous de gras. Thanks for letting us use it. Usually we go to Shell Point twice a year. Our next venture will be in the spring-and by the way , we have already used Jody as one of our guides in the past. He is a really affable person and he knows our guide Jerry Alexander. We're all here for a wedding in the family, but enjoyed visiting the area sights, especially Wakulla Srings boat ride. We went kayaking on the Wakulla River and saw manatees and a baby manatee tipped one of the kayaks over! Your home had everything we needed, and more than we would have expected.

No fishing, just down for some bonding & R&R ... oh, and the FSU (his team!) game. Great weekend! Love your home. We will be back with the whole family one day. This is a nice romantic getaway when you live in the Big City. (Everything was perfect, but the Gators lost & I was in Tallahassee!)
