My husband and I first moved to North Carolina in 1999. Within a week of living here we took a trip to the Blowing Rock area and fell in love with it. We have continued to visit atleast twice a year. Once in the summer to escape the hot and humid weather and once in the Winter to enjoy the skiing and sledding. There is just something about the mountains and the feeling of escaping from the busy city life.
