The Great Room area is the size of two rooms. There is a sectional sofa on one end plus a table and chairs in front of the window (both pictured in the profile) A great spot for enjoying your morning coffee,or having meals,while enjoying the view.
There are 2 TV's with cable TV. A flat screen TV in the Great Room with a CD/DVD player; plus, an additional TV with cable TV in the Master Bedroom.
Need to check in at the office? Bring along your laptop. Wireless internet access available.
The unit has a great floor plan! The hallway to the bedrooms, has a door... on either side of the door is a bedroom with it's own bath which is more private when sharing the unit.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO SAVE YOU TIME BEFORE MAKING YOUR INQUIRY: Island Winds has a two week minimum rental period during season (Dec 15-May 1st) per our bi-laws. We do not rent the unit for less than a one week period.
IN ADDITION,the unit will not be available for rentals from April 10th through the fall of 2010. The balconies are being restored and resurfaced during that time. (See calandar for approximate dates which are subject to change depending on weather conditions and contractor)

Why the Owner Chose Island Winds
We just love the convenience of the Ft. Myers Beach area!!!
The condo is located on the quiet southern end of the island in an area of mostly condos and picturesque residential homes on canals.
We are an easy walk from several restaurants, a shopping plaza, 2 tiki bars and a "Dinner Style" movie theatre with first run movies. Plus if you want to visit Town Square, the public beach and the pier area, those are also nearby. In addition, the island has an affordable trolley that services the island with a trolley stop directly across the street from Island Winds.
The unit is also only a short drive from Lover's Key State Park, two new upscale shopping centers, two outlet malls, several public golf courses,a casino and a dog track.
There is something for everyone!
