Why the Owner Chose Other Olde Naples Properties

We were on vacation in Naples in 2002. We just happened to see this house on our way to the airport. After we got home we decided it would be a great place to get out of the cold of Ohio.

The Unique Benefits at this House

We have a newly installed heated pool. The house has a nice open floor plan.

A
The Beach

The beach is only 1 1/2 blocks form our front door. Take a 2 minute stroll under the tree canopy of 2nd Ave N and you are on the beautiful sugary beaches of Naples.

B
Fifth Ave S

Stroll up and down Fifth Ave N for some the best shopping and dining that you will ever find.

C
The Art District

Enjoy all the art galleries and more fine dining in the Art District

D
The Pier

The famous Naples Pier is only a 15 to 20 minute walk down the beach. The Pier is a famous landmark in Naples. No fishing license is required if you fish from the pier.

E
The Library

Naples Library is a cool place to catch up on reading.

Owner's Map of Other Olde Naples Properties

My wife and I are both attorneys in Columbus Ohio. We fell in love with Old Naples and hope to live there in our retirement years which are a few years way. Our house is in a perfect location. We are close to the beach and all that Olde Naples has to offer. This is a photo of my wife and son at the end of our streets (just 1 1/2 blocks from our front door). We hope you will enjoy your stay and the charm of Olde Naples as much as we do.

Only the Location is Good

My family rented this home in spring of 2011. The only good thing about this home is the location. It is a short 2 block walk to the beach. When we arrived the home was not cleaned. There were wet towels and dirty laundry piled on the beds. The tables, bathrooms, and floors were all dirty. It was disgusting. There is a large home under construction across the street and quite a lot of noise from 7:00 AM each weekday and Saturdays. The photos on the website look much better than the actual property. There are hardly any decorations and there are about 20-25 patched nail holes where pictures/decorations used to be. The exterior of the home is not well maintained and the grass was almost dead. Other disappointments included a master bathroom that smelled like urine and a gas grill that was unusable. I would not recommend this property.

Owner response:We have a very good professional cleaning company that always does a great job and for the first time in 5 years they got the cleaning time wrong and did not clean the property. The tennant called and told me the cleaners had not been there so I offered to call the cleaning company immediately for an immediate cleaning or if the tennant preferred to refund the cleaning fee of $125. The tennant want the $125 so I refunded it instead of having the cleaning company come and do their usual great job. I told the tennant to call me with any issues. After the tennant got home he complained about the gas in the grill running out. I had a brand new grill and gas 20 yards away but he did not call me. I encourage all persons to call me with any issues as I have three people in Naples that can immediately repsond to any situation. We have had many tennant over the years and the reviews show it to be always be clean and well maintained. The mansion under construction (a $8,0000,000 house) is across the street and is on schedule to be completed by early fall 2011 and the work now is on the interior. Naples has code regulations that prevents work on Saturdays and Sundays and after 5PM on weekdays. The pictures do show exactly what is on the premises. We also have video that is current and accurate which can be sent on request to verify.

Good location

If you're looking for a close to the beach house no problem. The house is 3 little blocks next to the beach. It allows you to go to the beach whenever you want and have lunch elsewhere. The house is clean and well maintained (be careful although with the master window in the living room). It's quite old furnished. The only problem we had is the noise. A new big house is in construction in front of this one and actualy 6.45 am is a little early in the morning during holidays ! I would have appreciated that the owner warned me about it cause I m not sure I would have rented. Pool is quite small to.
