It was so grand to be so close to the Port Royal Sound cliff Walk, and that gorgeous private sandy beach at Dolphin Head. And the marsh was so serene and teeming with all kinds of interesting creatures...we saw tracks of a giant turtle who had laid some eggs...the shell print between the foot prints must have been two feet across! And the horse shoe crabs were all having interesting pairings but some ended up accidently being turned over, and we rescued all, but who knows what happened when we left. The home was super comfortable and kitchen filled with amenities that made our stay all the better, as we all are foodies and love to cook. Enjoyed the week, and we will return for another week at Deerfield. And we would definitely recommend the home to friends and family. Although we come to Hilton Head at least 4 times a year, we usually stay at nearby hotels, or with friends.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.

Had a wonderful stay, House was very clean and well stocked, Beds were comfortable and had plenty of towels enjoyed the bike trails, The owners had nice bikes for us to ride, enjoyed the near by pool, took us awhile to find the shops they are well hidden behind the tress, but it made it that much more enjoyable. I would stay here again and would recomend this for a great relaxing vacation. The owners made the transactions very easy, was a little skeptical at first since they live in the UK, But it all went well and l'll looking forward to next year so l can do it again The snydersRecommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-week vacation in this lovely, spacious, well-equipped and beautifully furnished home. The location is ideal -- only a short walk or bikeride from Dolphin Head Beach or the swimming pool at the recreation center and close to some great golf courses. The plantation itself is meticulously maintained with stands of mature trees, lakes, wildlife preserves and miles of bike and running trails, yet only a few minutes away from the restaurants and stores just outside the plantation. A little further afield there are miles of sandy beaches to enjoy and we particularly appreciated our visit Savannah and had a wonderful day touring its beautifully preserved houses. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful vacation in beautiful surroundings and in an exceptional home, this is the place!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/3

We spent a lovely month in this home and were most comfortable. There is excellent wireless internet access and a home entertainment system. The location is ideal, a short walk to the Port Royal Sound and to the golf club. In fact, we are returning in April and again in November 2010.Did you find this review helpful? We were delighted by this property. The owners have obviously taken great pains to ensure that their guests feel well taken care of. We used this property for a very small family reunion, and the owners responded to our ever-changing needs for parking passes with uncommon grace and patience. Just as described, the property is very close to Dolphin Head Beach, and we availed ourselves of that several times, one of which was our baby son's first visit to a beach ever. We recommend this property and its kind owners to anyone seeking a quiet, pleasant Hilton Head retreat.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Thank you so much for sharing your incredible Hilton Head home with our family. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed being conveniently located to everything! We wanted for nothing. The fully equipped kitchen, comfortably furnished living room/den and peaceful surroundings made us feel right at home. The instructions and directions you provided regarding the house and arrival/departure were extremely clear and thorough.During the week we enjoyed the beach, “rescued” horseshoe crabs, caught (and released) three sharks, rode the bikes (GREAT amenity!), enjoyed the nightly symphony of birds in the back yard, and had a very memorable vacation! Thank you again. We can hardly wait to visit again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

This was a great place to stay. The house has plenty of space and all rooms were recently remodelt and lovely decorated. Internet, printer, 5 TVs and a DVD Surround-System are available – GREAT. The owner was very pleasant to work with and I can't say enough nice things about our stay at this property. Hilton Head is a very nice Island and day trips to Savannah and Charleston we can recomment. We hope to go back soon.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3
