This newly renovated early 20th century house (named Mistral) is located directly on historic Marblehead Harbor (Modestly called “The Yachting Capital of the World”.)
The truly spectacular views overlook the harbor with an ocean view northeast to Manchester-by the-Sea, Baker’s Island and Cape Ann and south to the entrance to Boston Harbor and beyond to Weymouth, Hingham and Scituate on the South Shore.
The house is within easy walking distance to the downtown shopping areas and the historic district.
Mistral has three porches and a French balcony off the master bedroom, four bedrooms, three and one-half bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, a dining area with a fireplace, a large family room with an entertainment center and fireplace and a laundry room. The master bedroom has a king size bed, two of the guest bedrooms have queen size beds and the fourth bedroom has over & under bunk beds.
It also has wireless high speed internet access and satellite TV. It was recently renovated.
A seasonal dock on the harbor with kayaks and a dinghy is available for use. A spacious sandy beach is within easy walking distance.
The next town over is Salem, MA, the original "Witch City" with even more restaurants, museums, art galleries and historic sites. Salem also has a high speed Ferry which regularly travels to Boston. There are also Whale Watching Boats available.
You won't be disappointed with all the activities and things to see and do.

About the owner: Linda and Dan are retired and live in the house next to the rental property. they love to travel and sail. Their world revolves around the Ocean and their houses reflect this. The houses are directly on the water with a dock and they have a number of boats large and small.
Why the Owner Chose Marblehead:
The rental house and their own home are directly on Marblehead Harbor with spectacular views, not only of the Harbor but, in addition, of both the North and South Shores of Massachusetts. Dan lived in Marblehead summers as a child and fell in love with the town. He came back to Marblehead after finishing graduate school and started a company on the North Shore. He met and married Linda who had also fallen in love with the town and had just moved there from the south shore. The houses immediately attracted them because of their views and their access to the harbor and sailing.

The rental house is centrally located and is within easy walking distance to the Historic District, beaches and the unique downtown shopping area yet is just far enough away from the bustle of the downtown area to be in a quiet residential neighborhood.
