This home is one of a kind! The house is immaculate and beautiful inside and out, with recent updates. It has beautiful wood floors and staircase, tiled baths, hand painted tiles in chef’s kitchen, open and spacious great room with fireplace, spacious bedrooms and baths. The house is a comfortable get away for a couple, or perfect for a big family vacation with plenty of space for all the kids and grand kids. It is also a great place for group retreats! It is much larger than it appears as it is built into a hillside and it's actually a 3 story house.
The house features 2 full kitchens which makes it perfect for a vacation with extended or multiple families, with teenage kids and little ones. The spacious den and second kitchen provide a great place for the kids to hang out, play games and eat snacks, as well as additional sleeping space on 2 day beds and a sleeper sofa.
There are 3 large bedrooms, and 3.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom has two nice queen beds and sitting area for reading or enjoying a quiet moment. French doors open onto the deck overlooking the creek. The large master bath features a separate shower and a jetted tub. The second bedroom also has 2 matching queen beds and a sitting area with large windows. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a sitting area as well.
The great room is beautifully and comfortably furnished. It includes a baby grand piano for those who enjoy playing. We have a telescope on a tri-pod for viewing the abundant wildlife and star gazing on clear mountain nights when you can see millions of stars! French doors open onto the deck which overlooks Chalk Creek. The dining table seats 8 with seating for 5 more at the breakfast counter. The main kitchen is large and very well furnished with everything you'll need.
The entire house has been furnished, and equipped to meet your every need and make your stay comfortable, relaxing and memorable... a perfect vacation!
The house is only a few miles up the road from Mt. Princeton Hot Springs where you can enjoy soaking in the mineral rich hot spring pools. They also have 2 new swimming pools with a big slide for the kids, or the whole family, to enjoy. There are life guards on duty at the swimming pools so the kids can play while the adults soak!
The area is full of things to do including, hiking, mountain biking, climbing, rafting, kayaking and world class fly fishing on the Arkansas River and spectacular sight seeing, just to mention a few things!
