Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2001
I am a 20 year breast cancer survivor with 2 daughters and 4-year old twin grandchildren. I have used VRBO in the past - always with a positive experience so I knew right away who I wanted to deal with when deciding to rent my home!
Why the Owner Chose Middletown
I built this home to be near my grown children and grandchildren. The house is also used on occasion for retreats for women with cancer as well as support groups. Something that brings me joy to do.
The Unique Benefits of this House
This is truly a perfect home in every way. Not smack in the hustle and bustle of downtown and surrounded by open space on every side. Yet everything is a stones throw away from beaches and fine dining to shopping and museums. The house is very large and very, very roomy, making it a great space for get-togethers or family retreats. It should be noted that there are areas of the house that are not baby/child proof so care must be taken with children in the home. The Gardens and patio offer visitors a peaceful and relaxing space to sit or visit.
The home also features a director in residence basement apartment with a seperate entrance.

We had a wonderful time in your beautiful home, Linda. Neither of our sons wanted to leave and we could hardly blame them! Your home is a very spacious and special place and the perfect choice for our summer family vacation. We saw deer nearly every evening running through the field and into the woods. it was beautiful! Thank you, Linda. Lisa Cohen-Clarkson and family

Perfect is the word that comes to mind when I think about our summer vacation. From our 6-year olds "frog searches" in your koi pond to sitting in the beautiful gardens watching the red tail hawks dance around us. The handicap accessability made it possible for 3 generations of women to be together. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place, Linda. And thank you for what you do for the cancer population. We hope to see you again. Linda Klein

Linda, Thank you so much! We had a great time with our family. Your comments and suggestions were great. Our 4-year old did not want to leave "the vacation house." I admire what you do in this beautiful house and hope you reach your goals. The kids, as well as the adults, loved the serenity and beauty of the new back yard. Thank you very much!
