This is a unique property on West Beach of Bald Head Island, where Cape Fear Inlet meets the Atlantic Ocean. One can see sail boats, fishing boats and large tankers enter and exit their shipping lanes, and also have beautiful west-facing sunsets, which is unique for an east coast home. There are no motorized vehicles here, and the house comes with two golf carts and 6 bicycles, which are all the modes of transportation that one could want.
An 18-hole Cobb-designed golf course is 5 minutes walk to the clubhouse, which also has tennis courts, pool and fitness center. There is a full driving range, putting green and full-service club house with lessons, USGA golf pros and croquet also available.
The house has a private lap pool (8' x 40') and wrap-around decks for superb views of the ocean and dune ridge. There are 3 bedrooms with King beds and private bathrooms. The 4th bedroom has a large sitting area and 2 built-in bunk beds for 4 additional beds. Each bedroom has its own TV, and there is a large-screen TV in the living/dining area. The kitchen and living/dining room are open spaces with lots of glass for spectacular and unimpeded ocean and dune views.

The Unique Benefits at this House
We eat together as a family, ride bikes and walk around the island, play golf and walk the dogs on the beach. There are no cheesy T-shirt shops and noisy motorized water or other vehicles around the island, so one can feel safe with family and kids can be independent and 'hang out' with each other and make new friends.
