Enjoy and relax at the “Bearadise House” located on beautiful Lake Glenville.
The house is nestled on the west side of the lake which offers exceptional views of the lake and the Smoky Mountain range. Peace and tranquility makes your vacation time enjoyable and relaxing.
As you drive onto a large circular driveway you will immediately feel that you have just arrived a little closer to heaven. When you enter the house a whole new world opens up with views that can only be described as “Wow”!
This house was designed to accommodate family enjoyment plus a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The interior of the house reflects the true mountain traditions with hardwood floors; 14 ft wood paneled cathedral ceiling and stacked stone gas fireplaces and an autentic walnut English Pub bar.
The rear of the house consists of large wrap around decks on each of the two levels, with generous amounts of glass and French doors that provide unrestricted views of the lake and mountain range from inside of the house or while relaxing on the decks or swinging in the hammock.
When not lounging around the house and looking for some exercise you may enjoy a nice game of tennis at our private tennis court, or take a leisure walk into the woods, or just sit on the boat dock to enjoy the view, drop a fishing line, or take a swim in this beautiful lake.
Kayaking and boating along with jet skiing are favorite pastimes on Lake Glenville, the highest lake, east of the Mississipi with 27 miles of shore line. Viewing of the 4 beautiful water falls that feed this lake is easily accessible by boat and rental boats are available at the local marina.
The “Bearadise House” is located about a 15 minute drive along paved roads to the center of Cashiers, NC, that offers fine restaurants, quaint shops, various antique stores and a large supermarket for your shopping pleasure.
This pristine area has several golf courses for your enjoyment, plus hiking, fishing and cycling, or just a pleasant horseback ride through these beautiful mountains.
Our house is well equipped for families of all ages and we are both pet friendly and kid friendly, however, no smoking is allowed and observed on the property.
Bearadise house is located on 2 wooded acres in one of the finest gated communities on Lake Glenville, offering exceptional security as the house is connected with a central station fire and security system.
Many of our previous guests have returned with their family and friends as their memories made their vacations more enjoyable because of the ambiance of our beautiful home and awesome view.

Why the Owner Chose Glenville
We had looked for 3 years to build our mountain house and when we found the Summer Hill community it was just what we wanted. Outstanding view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Lake Glenville in all its glory. We have not seen a better view on any property on Lake Glenville with private docks, peace and quite and relaxing with great people.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Cool evenings and outdoor dinning at its best. Fifteen minutes from downtown Cashiers with all paved roads not usually found in the mountains. Bearadise is within the gated community of Summer Hill which is one of the most outstanding communities on Lake Glenville. There are many fine resturants in Cashiers along with great shopping and the house is only about 12 miles away from Highlands, NC and 10 miles from Lake Toxaway.

My wife and I are retired professionals and currently live on Hilton Head Island, SC. We have the best of both worlds as we live on the ocean and have the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in our back yard on Lake Glenville, NC. Life could not be sweeter....

We thoroughly our stay at the Bearadise House with all of it's wonderful amenities. We had the extra bonus of a White Christmas which started arriving Christmas Eve. Our 13 year old grand daughter was so delighter with her first ever experience with snow. Even though we where house bound for a few days we walked in the snow around the area as it was truly a beautiful site.

Beardise provides the greatest physical, emotional and mental therapy for our family. When we pull into the driveway the stress from our daily life disappears. Can't wait to return. St. Petersburg Beach, Florida

We spent a nice Fall weekend at Bearadise with my 2 boys, my sister and my parents. We completely enjoyed our stay enjoying a nice walk to the lake. We felt completely at home here and the pictures show exactly what you get!! Plenty of room to spread out and relax away from the "craziness" of daily life!!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
