Guests enjoy south-facing lake views, and enjoy all-day sunbathing on 30-foot dock. Naturally wooded environment with hundred-year old hemlocks, mountain laurel and other native species, provides privacy and contributes to no-weed swimming. The property includes use of a canoe, solo kayak and sunfish sailboat.
Property features two outdoor decks for lounging or watching sunsets. Enjoy al fresco dining on upper deck with an outdoor refrigerator, barbecue grill, table, chairs and umbrella. On chilly Berkshire evenings, relax next to the home's wood-burning fireplace, located in the living room. We had the opportunity to rent this property last minute for a weekend getaway. I could not be more pleased with our decision. My husband and I had a wonderful time at Moore Cottage. Lake Garfield is absolutely beautiful, and clean! Furthermore, the owners are a pleasure to work with. We hope to be back again in the future.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My husband and I spent our 20th anniversary at this house and it was wonderful. It is a charming, unusual home and we were very comfortable there. The house is on a beautiful lake and its location is close to all the Berkshire attractions. We plan on renting this house again in the future.
