We loved our stay at the unit. JP made the booking easy. The unit is 1 block from a subway station and is ideally located. The views are terrific. I would recommend this unit without qualification.

The location is very central to everything you want to do. For women traveling alone security is a must and we felt very safe in this building and condo. The front desk was manned everytime we came and went. The staff was very friendly and we had no problem getting a taxi ever. The weather was bad so we were able to shop in the Whole Foods store without leaving the building. There was also a dry cleaners within the building. The view was phenomenal and we loved the space the unit afforded us. We compared staying in a nice hotel in ONE room and this condo and the price for each of us was very affordable. Loved Roy's restaurant which is next door and we ate there twice. We are big foodies and this is unheard of for us! A bottle of wine and a LARGE assortment of brochures and travel recommendations awaited our arrival. We would go back in a heartbeat!

There is so much to recommend this apartment. Firstly, the location is superb - just three blocks from Mag Mile and one block from the CTA stop on Chicago - this is a superb central location with a wonderful view of The Hancock Tower. It's no trouble to walk down to the Loop and as a family of 4, we found taxis to be cheaper than the CTA when looking to head home at the end of the day. If you plan to eat in (as we did), there's a Wholefoods within the building and it's a short walk to Trader Joe's. The building is safe, clean, friendly and quiet. The door staff are particularly pleasant. Both bedrooms are big and comfortable and there's plenty of hanging space. The 2 bathrooms are also good. Kitchen is simple, but well appointed - we ate in pretty much all of the time and all of our needs were met. Lounge is comfortable and the TV is huge. There's a gym and free coffee on the 7th floor. The apartment is good value for money. I was particularly impressed by JP's accomodating view of payment - this is the 4th time we have rented property in the USA and previously we have found terms for deposits and advanced payments to be a little one sided. JP was so cool and trusting when it came to letting us pay with travellers cheques at a mutually convenient time. The only downside is that Chicago fire, ambulance and police vehicles do not hold back on blasting their alarms at all times - bring earplugs with you to ensure a good night's sleep! That should not detract from this property representing very good value for money, particularly given it's prime location. Recommended.

Hi JP, Just wanted to thank you again for everything! The condo was wonderful (those views!) and my family had the best time - due, in part, to the location and layout of the condo. It was great to travel around Chicago during the day and then have the ability to come back and everyone had their own space to relax in. The trip was also made a lot easier because we were able to contact you and you would get back to us right away and helped us take care of many things. We're already trying to think of a time when we can come back because we loved it so much. I will definitely keep your condo in mind for anyone I know heading to Chicago.

We stayed at this condo with friends. There was so much room and it was convenient to everything. Walked to beach/swimming in Lake Michigan. Short train ride to kayaking, Second City, Steppenwolf and Oak Park. Walked to awsome dining and jazz clubs! We loved this location and this condo, it made us feel like we were a part of the city! Hope to stay again! Thanks JP!

My family and I (wife + 2 kids aged 12 & 10) had a great time in Chicago. The condo was just beautiful and what a view!!!! The kids loved it so much we had a tough time getting them to leave it and go sight-seeing during the day. Great location, just a quick walk to Michigan Ave., restaurants, sights, etc. You can see the Navy Pier fireworks from the balcony!!! The kids loved the pool and although I didn't use the fitness room, it looked great. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends. The owner, JP, was very easy to work with and helped in making a great vacation for my family and I.

Location was great with close proximity to Michigan Avenue and local restaurants. A spectacular view from the deck. This was the perfect size for our group. So comfy it was hard to get everyone out the door to see all Chicago had to offer. An added plus was the in unit washer/dryer allows you to bring less and have plenty of room for souvenirs or a simple carryon (no baggage fees).

We had a great time. This apartment had a brilliant location with a great view 51 floors up! The apartment was spotless and had some great touches like the welcome basket and tourist brochures/maps. Nothing was out of place at all. JP was very helpful and always quick to respond to any questions we had before coming - we're so glad we stayed in this apartment rather than a hotel. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to all of our friends. Thanks for a great time!

We had a wonderful time! The condo was amazing, the view was amazing, and the ease of booking the room was a huge relief. JP made the process easy and painless, even though I tried to make it hard. I repeatedly had questions and JP answered them quickly. The room was wonderful and relatively cheap. Compared to local 4 star hotels he was well below their rates and had more to offer. Kitchen, workout room, coffee lounge and swimming pool were great. I highly recommend this condo. I know I will use JP again. Thanks for making the reservation, check in, and check out process smooth and painless.

My family LOVED this apartment. The view is really incredible, the location couldn't be more convenient, and having Wholefoods in the building makes it easy to stock up the kitchen. We enjoyed the pool and the library and the free coffee in the cafe. We had a great time!

We spent the 4th of July in Chicago at 1 Superior. The location could not have been better. We were a block away from the Red Line for easy access to Wrigley. Having the Whole Foods in the same building was key. We have 2 small children and having the extra space that the condo afforded us made our weekend much more pleasant than our hotel stays. JP was at our service and everything went very smoothly. Thanks for a great holiday and we will use you company again!!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful vacation in Chicago. The building was great and the views were spectacular from our unit. Perfect location for the Miracle Mile, Millenium Park and other great attractions. Chicago is a great city and this was a perfect location. JP took care of all our needs promptly and professionally.

Our family of 5 (3 kids) just returned from Chicago. Staying in JP's condo made for a very easy, relaxing vacation. The view from the condo was fabulous and the location was perfect. JP made everything easy. It all went exactly as planned. I would recommend this over a hotel stay any time! My kids would agree.

Our group of six, four adults and two small children, stayed at 1 West Superior for one week, June 20 to June 27, 2009. The accommodations were very nice, and certainly fulfilled our vacation and exploration need for a central location in the heart of downtown Chicago. The bedding was quite comfortable, the views were divine, the size of the space served our needs well, and the ease of setting up the rental with JP was unmatched. We stayed on the 52nd floor, which was great for the views, although waiting for an elevator required some patience. Ahh, the issues with the penthouse. JP was very responsive throughout the process. He left a thoughtful gift basket for us as a welcome upon arrival. The concierges at the front desk of the building were kindly and helpful. I would recommend staying here over staying in a hotel every time. We all concur that our stay here for the week-long vacation to Chicago was fantastic.

Wow, what a great condo! My family has stayed at numerous VRBO units and this was the best EXPERIENCE we have ever had. First, JP was very responsive with our initial rental inquiry. In fact, we had everything booked in about 1 hour from the time of my initial request. The info provided to us before we arrived was very helpful including discounts for out-of-state visitors. The condo was great, very clean and spacious. Plus, not a lot of nick-knacks for my kids to break. The gift basket with wine, chocolates and coffee was a nice surprise as well! The pictures on the website don’t do the unit any justice. The views of Lake Michigan and Michigan Ave are spectacular. Every morning my wife and I had coffee on the balcony looking out to Lake Michigan watching the sunrise. The beds were also very comfortable, which is a huge plus after a long day of sightseeing. We spent a lot of time at the pool just relaxing while the kids swam. The grilling area was awesome, we just purchased our food at the Whole Foods in the building and then had our own cookout. You can’t beat the location, right off the Red Line EL stop and a quick 5 minute walk to Michigan Ave. My wife and daughter were in heaven will all of the shopping in the area. My son and I went to 2 Cubs games, which JP got us great seats under face value. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Next time we visit Chicago we WILL be staying with JP again.

My wife & I enjoyed at great weekend at 1 West Superior. We had drinks a block away on the rooftop of the Dana Hotel. Our building included free Starbuck's, pool and grill access. We walked to the Whole Foods in the building and bought burgers to grill and enjoy by the pool.
