The house was chosen by NBC Universal Television as location for the shooting of an episode of Law and Order - Special Victims Unit. It was Elliot's house, one of the lead detectives in the series. It was the second episode of the season starting September 2005.
This villa is conveniently located in the safe and quiet neighborhood of Riverdale, which is just minutes from Manhattan by bus or subway.
Minutes walk to Van Cortland Park were many spots meeting take place. There is a golf course, public swimming pool, tennis courts, football field, baseball fields, running tracks, lake, etc.
We can accommodate 1-2 couples or large groups of up to 8 people.

The area is ideal to escape the noise and polution of Manhattan. You feel as if you are in the country side. It is safe and quiet and at the same time near restaurants and shops.
A trip to Manhattan by public transportation is esasy and you can park your car for free!
Very conveniently located to get to/from the airport.
I lived in this neigborhood since 1993 and I absolutely love it.

Reme is the consumate host. We were travelling from the West Coast with the natural fears of securing a place we had never been to before. Everything you see in the pictures and is advertised about this house is true. Reme will go out of her way to welcome you and make your stay enjoyable. The bus and subway system to NYC from this location is quick, painless and easy. I would recommend this housing and the price is right.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Reme was the perfect Host. Always always always answered the phone right away and all our questions. The place was spotless and in mint condition and we felt right at home. We came for a family event and not only neede to fit the 8 of us comfortably, but also wanted a place to gather and celebrate. It was a memorable experience and will be repeating soon!
