This is a completely restored 100 year old home located on the Welland River better known as the Chippawa Creek, where the Niagara River and Welland Rivers meet.
Located about 1 mile from the famous Niagara Falls. Close to all attractions. There is a grocery store, beer store, liquor store, restaurants, bars, coffee shops all located within 5 minute walking distance. There is a walking/biking trail the entire length of the upper and lower river, approximately 35km or 25 miles. The Niagara Parks Commission people mover station, where you can purchase a ticket for all day trasportation within the Parks system is a 10 to 15 minute walk. What a beautiful home....fabulously restored. It was tastefully decorated and so clean. The wrap-around porch overlooking the river was so enjoyable, a great place to have a cup of coffee in the morning in the rocking chairs. It was very close to the falls and all the local attractions...and yet far enough to escape the tourists and noise. Joe and Betty thought of everything...cold water in the frig, bikes in the garage, a wide variety of movies to select from, magazines to read...Our family of 5 truly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us!

We stayed in the Chippawa White House in August for our summer vacation to Niagara Falls. The house is beautiful and the owners have done a wonderful job restoring this home. The home is located close enough to ride a bicycle or take a short jog (or long walk if you prefer) down the trail along the river to the falls in the morning before the crowds hit. The bicycle trail, which is very close to the house runs along the river from Niagara-on-the-lake to Fort Erie. We brought our bikes but didn't need to as the home owner has bikes available. We went for a ride every day. The location is perfect, close to the falls and all the activities and crowds, but at the end of the day when you have had enough and return home you feel like you are back in a small river town and the crowds are gone. The large porch looks out to the river and the view is great. We didn't think my father-in-law would leave the rocking chair to come home. There is a dining table outside on the porch that we used and had a great time in the evenings. I would highly recommend this home if you are planning a vacation to Niagara falls. The house is beautiful and if you want to be close to the action, but not feel like you are vacation with the crowds, this is the place for you. The owners were very helpful and gracious hosts.

The House was so beautiful we wanted to just stay. Everything that we could need was provided and it was so large. . There was a lot of rain when we were there and having such a beautiful house to relax in made our vacation wonderful. Owners were friendly and helpful. They have done a great job on the remodeling. We hope to return in the future. I HIGHLY recommended this home and owner.

This beautifully restored home was the perfect haven for our vacation. Beginning with the huge front porch with a view of the Welland River that carries away your worries and cares, the home was immaculate and the kitchen was well stocked with all of the cooking and grilling items you may need. The owners were outstanding to work with and very personable. The location is close enough to Niagara Falls for an easy bike ride via the recreation path, but still removed enough to allow you to relax in peace and quiet. If we return to the Falls again, this will be our first choice. Thank you, Joe and Betty, for allowing us to stay at the Chippawa White House.
