You can have your cake and eat it too at this truly oceanfront secluded condo on West Bay Beach. Within 25 feet of water's edge you can watch for the emerald flash in air conditioned comfort while you are mixing a Monkey Lala. Or watch your family come and go on the dive boat next door.

This second home is well equipped for any families’ holiday enjoyment. The master suite with king bed is separated from the second bedroom via wide hallway and second bath. A queen bed and a twin bed make up the second bedroom. There are two well made queen sofa beds in the living area.

Each room has remote controlled air conditioning units that are ceiling mounted along with ceiling fans. The large screened sliders can be opened to let in the breeze off the ocean. This unit is connected to the development’s backup generator that is activated automatically when the power goes out.

Next door to this small condo development of 6 units is a small quiet dive resort and on the other side is a large family estate. This development is just a short walk to the major resorts and restaurants on West Bay Beach yet it is secluded from them via the short point of iron shore. There are only private roads along this part of West Bay Beach providing access to residents and guests only.

There are ample dive resorts, restaurants, bars and shopping within a 10 minute walk of this villa so there is no need to have a car to drive to West End for the night life. Yet, you are protected from the hustle, bustle and noise via the barrier created by the short spit or iron shore with a boardwalk over it.

  • We had an extremely positive,smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable vacation. My wife and I and our two children stayed in Villa Ocean Reef in West Bay (by far the best beach on Roatan) Aug. 8-15-2009. The very spacious 2br 2bath condo was extremely clean and well taken care, well stocked with appliances and utensils, drinking water and even a local cell phone for our use. Location was superb -- directly on a very private section of the beach, from which we could swim out to the reef to snorkle amidst the coral and fish. With a dip pool and outdoor shower for coming back in. But also within a block of restaurants, fishing boats, water taxis, and dive shops. The water was very calm and clear for good diving and snorkeling visability. Even tho we went during the U.S. traveling advisory effecting the mainland of Honduras, there were absolutely zero problems nor any disturbances on the island of Roatan. Linda and Kevin were terrific to work with, the neighbors and entire local population and businesses were very friendly and helpful, and the local neighborhood was very quiet at night. Among the best mix of very comfortable accomodations and fun activities that we have had -- highly recommended.

  • Beautiful condo in a perfect location! My family of 8 stayed there comfortably. We were walking distance from the white sands of West bay beach and very nice restaraunts. We loved the close proximity of our deck to the water and the fresh water pool. Jeff was very kind and brought us water when we needed it and took us to the grocery store. We had a wonderful time diving and doing the zip line. An amazing vacation. I would stay there again.

  • If you are looking for a condo that is close to the action, but feels safe and secluded, then this is the place for you. My family of 5 and my mother-in-law stayed in this condo March 21-28, 2009, and the location was perfect. We traveled to several beaches while in Roatan, and the best one (West Bay Beach) was just a few minutes walk from our condo. The Las Rocas Dive shop was at our front door, and they were a pleasure to do business with. The Monkey La La at Las Rocas was also a pleasure to drink. I can't get real excited about the food on the island, but some of the best food we found was all within walking distance. As far as the condo itself, we had absolutely no complaints. Jeff met us on our arrival, gave us a quick tour, answered all of our questions, and left us with instructions to call him if we needed anything. Fortunately, we didn't have any problems, and our security deposit was returned in full. In a nutshell, it was a great condo in a great location, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
