Our vacation was amazing! The beach house was remarkably clean and very well stocked with anything a renter could possibly need. The description of the house was very accurate. The views of the marsh and waterway are mesmerizing! With 4 small children we especially appreciated the very short walk to the beach! We enjoyed visiting the lighthouse, which is just a few doors down from the house, and felt completely safe to take night walks on the beach looking for 'treasure' with the children. Can't wait to go back next year!!!

Loved the rocking chairs again this year. Lots of fishing in Southport. We visited Ft. Fisher & N.C. aquarium. Loved our week of rest, reading, sunning, fishing, and card playing!

Great view over waterway from back porch for fireworks on the 4th! Found big shells, sand dollars. Watched dolphins in the surf. Very relaxing in a nice cool house--hope to come back!

It was our first time to Oak Island and Caswell Beach is our new favorite beach, quiet, yet everything we could want or need is only 5 to 10 minutes away. We had a wonderful long weekend for fall break and the weather was perfect, can't beat 81 for the end of October. My husband caught fish in the surf, so he was very happy. Our son had a great time especially skimboarding. The house is very open and the view from the back screened in porch is wonderful overlooking the marsh and river. We definitely want to come back!

You have a lovely cottage and we so enjoyed our stay there. It really has all the comforts of home and more. I especially liked the glass wall in back and we spent quite a lot of time on the screened porch. Also really enjoyed the artwork and the outdoor shower. The internet access was a blessing. We ate at one of the restaurants you recommended. The food was delicious. It was nice to be on an uncrowded beach for a change and also not to have to deal with the typical beach traffic.
