This tudor-style home has plenty of room with easy association beach access on Silver Lake. While visiting, you can take the golf cart or a stroll to the beach on Silver Lake, rest in the quiet of the woods while sitting in the large screened-in porch, watch television in the media room, relax by the glow of the chimnea, cook in the gourmet kitchen or on the outside grill. "The Ponderosa" is less than two miles from downtown Saugatuck.
"The Ponderosa" is minutes from downtown Saugatuck and Douglas where you can find excellent restaurants, galleries, shops, boat/kayak/jet ski and scooter rentals, and fishing trips. It is the center of numerous art galleries and antique shops, as well as winery tours and farm markets. You can also schedule a riding lesson at our state-of-the-art horse facility. Moreover, the house is close to Lake Michigan where you can enjoy the beautiful beaches or stay at the house to enjoy the beach on Silver Lake.

The following rates apply for reservations made after January 1, 2010:
NOTE: Until April 1, 2010, only accepting weekly reservations for summer 2010.
Peak Season -- May 15, 2010 through October 15, 2010: $3,200/week or $495/night
Off-Peak Season -- $2,550/week or $395/night
There is a three night minimum stay at no extra charge.
A $75.00 cleaning fee will apply for two night stays.
The following rates apply for 2009 & 2010 reservations made prior to Jan. 1, 2010:
Peak: $2,950/week or $450/night Off-Peak: $1,950/week or $350/night

We enjoy the resort living, as well as the serenity of country life. Therefore, the house fits our lifestyle perfectly, and we hope it fits your lifestyle, as well. The house sits among trees on wooded lots off of a main road; yet, it is less than two miles to downtown Saugatuck.

The vacation rental is less than two miles from downtown Saugatuck where you get a taste of resort living, with its art galleries, specialty shops, and fantastic restaurants. In addtion, you can find orchards, organic gardens, horseback riding, dune rides, antique shops, wineries, and much, much more within the vacation rental vicinity. However, the best part is the proximity of the beautiful Lake Michigan beaches from the vacation property.
