Absolutely one of the most beautiful beaches in an extremely convenient location. Enjoy the view of the beach and pool area from your private 3rd floor (top floor) balcony and watch the playful dolphins which cruise by regularly. Park your car in the private lot and just leave it because you won't need it. Coligny Plaza, known as the 'downtown' of Hilton Head Island is directly across the street and boasts of 60 shops which include: restaurants, taverns, grocery store, liquor store, hardware store, pharmacy, internet cafe, ice cream, movies, upscale and souvenir shopping. There are spas and mini golf and a kids water park is within walking distance. Fishing, golf and tennis are abundant. Don't forget to visit the infamous Tiki Bar just 1 minute down the beach for refreshments, volleyball and live music.
We have just renovated the kitchen June of 2010 with all new appliances and granite countertop. It is nicely furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, clean and cozy. It has 2 TV's, vcr & dvd and has all the comforts of home. There is a queen bed, bunk beds and a queen pull out sofa bed. ALL LINEN, TOWELS AND CLEANING ARE INCLUDED.

We stayed at 334 Breakers for several days during the week between Easter Sunday and the RBC Heritage golf Tourney weekend after. Our overall experience was great. The unit was clean upon checkin, and for anyone whom is familiar with on-island pricing for true "oceanfront condo" type setups, the Breakers is really the best deal on the island IMHO. Location wise on island, I don't think you can beat Coligny Plaza area, due to the shops immediately across the street, which includes a great coffee shop, a smaller Piggly Wiggly (but has what all you need) as well as eatery's and other novelty type shops. Other person's postings I agree with, in that you really don't need your car for majority of your time, particularly if you venture out on your bikes. IN terms of the actual unit --- while it is relatively small, again for the price point the benefits far outweigh the size. We have two young kids (under age 8) and they thought the bunkbeds in the unit were an exciting adventure. Working with the owners was also great - email replies were extremely quick, etc. While from the outside the overall "Breakers" complex appears to be a little bit "dated" in age, it is a very secure place, and the grounds (including pool area etc.) are very well kept clean, etc. Additionally we brougth our own bikes, and they are plenty secure in the below parking deck with a chain around them. I would recommend staying at 334 for any "couple" or smaller families especially with younger ones.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children.

We have stayed at Hilton Head Island before, but never this close to the beach. The view was amazing, and our walk to the beach was a leisurely four to five minutes. This unit has been recently updated and is very well furnished. We certainly would stay there again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

This was our third stay at The Breakers, the 1st at 334. As always we had a fantastic but a too short stay. The Breakers proximity to the beach and shoppiing center can't be beat. It is possble to park your car and not use it until you leave.Of course there are great places to eat all over Hilton Head should you choose to drive. Concerning unit 334. It was great, just as adverised! The kitchen, altough we only ate in for breakfast,is very modern with new appliances, dishwasher, stove, refrigerator and small appliances etc. There is plenty of room in the condo so we never felt claustrophobic. The flat sreen tv allowed us to watch the NCAA tournament in ease. Didn't like the outcome of SU vs OSU game though. Not the condo's fault! There is a great view of the beach/ocean and the swimming pool from the balcony, a great place to enjoy a second cup of coffee and the morning paper! We had nice weather so we were able to lounge by the pool and also were able to walk the beach. All in all we had a fantastic relaxing time. We highly recommend a stay at 334 The Breakers.By the way, I'm 75 and Sue is 72 and the trips to the 3rd floor posed no problem for us!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This is a very nice, updated, clean condo! We found there was plenty of storage, even without a closet. Balcony overlooks the pools and the ocean. The location is really nice-right across the street from Coligny Plaza-very convenient for restaurants, ice cream and groceries. It is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator in this condo building, but, hey, it's good exercise! Owners are very nice to work with! We would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Condo location was great. It even has covered parking and alot of shaded area parking. Easy access to the beach and shops; oceanfront with a view of the pools also. It is within walking distance of Coligny Plaza which is loaded with shops, restaraunts and entertainment. We enjoyed walking over and getting ice cream every evening. The condo is clean and well kept but it is small. It is great for a couple or even a couple with two small children. It is on the third floor which gives you great views but keep in mind there is no elevator. My teenage son and his friend rented bikes at a shop just in front of the Breakers and rode them all over the area. We normally vacation at Myrtle Beach so Hilton Head was much more relaxed and quiet. We enjoyed our stay there. The owner is very nice to deal with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My first trip to Hilton Head Island was summer 2009 and I stayed in this unit... I've been back twice and sent my parents once!! The condo is right on the water, so in minutes, you can be on the beach or lounging by the pool. The kitchen was recently updated with granite counter tops and state-of-the-art dishwasher, microwave, and oven with 4 stove-top burners. It was nice to sit down at the table for family dinner after a long day on the beach! Coligny Plaza is right across the street, which has everything you could need within walking distance: restaurants, shopping, a grocery store, day/night entertainment, bike rentals, beach equipment, happy hour specials, movies, nail salon, etc. I literally parked the car on Saturday and didn't drive it again until we left a week later. The property has around the clock security guards to monitor parking and ensure safety. They were always very nice and eager to help answer any of my island questions. Over all, you can't beat this condo for the price. Other Breakers units are outdated and poorly laid out. This unit really gives you a great view, the best use of the space, all the conveniences of cooking in your own kitchen, and is walking distance to some of the island's best entertainment!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Our first time staying in Hilton Head. The experience was fabulous. The Condo was very nice, and the location was perfect for our family. Within walking distance of most everything. The ease and access to the beach was great also. We would stay again and would recommend this unit to anyone. Loved our time in Hilton Head!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

The description was pretty accurate on the listing, but pack light because there are no closets or places to put your clothes. There is one dresser, but the drawers are full of bedding items. The pictures did show the lovely view. We enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony and evening cocktails. We were a little disappointed with the fully stocked kitchen description because that meant to us coffee filters, etc., but really it is just small packets for the dishwasher and paper towels. Take trash bags because they only had one in the can. The property was nice, but there was a mix up in the cleaning schedule and it was not ready for us when we arrived, but we called the owner and it was done within the hour. The owner is extremely nice and accomodating to all questions and needs. I would go again and would refer others to her condo. It is right across the street from a plaza that has everything including restaurants. We had a great time.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+.
