Enjoy classic Marin luxury on the scenic tidelands of Corte Madera. With beautiful Mt. Tam in the background, you'll feel like you're in paradise. This completely remodeled condo overlooks a Bahama-like tidal estuary, with amazing fog-free views of the valley area between the San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate National Recreation Area mountain range.
Just a short drive over the mountain brings you to the Pacific Ocean, where you can spend a day in the sun at popular locations such as Stinson Beach, Bolinas, and Point Reyes National Seashore. After a day of sightseeing and exercise you'll want to relax at one of the fine restaurants in historic downtown Larkspur, and maybe take in a movie at the local theater. All within walking or biking range from the condo. Also within walking range, by waterside path, are the upscale Bon Air shopping center, ferry service to San Francisco, public trans., boat rentals, and more.
This large 2 bedroom condo features brand-new remodeled construction throughout with beautiful tile and laminate floors, a granite handicap-access shower, a jetted Jacuzzi bathtub, and a 'Sleep Number' electrically adjustable bed. All-day sun, 14 foot ceilings, and an open floor-plan create a comfortable, refreshing atmosphere, with a large deck facing south out over the water. This is a flat, upper-level end unit with a short, level (no stairs) walkway to the covered parking area. A short path around the side brings you to a dock for launching your canoes or kayaks, etc.
Please note-- A new VRBO listing has recently been added to the Larkspur category, using a near copy of our main photo and some of our text. Because this photo, etc. may be confusing to prospective renters, we want to mention that we are not associated with the owner of this other property, and our listing is in a different building and location.

What an unforgettable stay! The unit was perfectly situated on the third floor at the bend of the tidelands providing optimal views in both directions as far as you can see. It was really nice to know I was in the city with nearby conveniences and yet find myself in a private oasis with water views and no buildings across the way. Light, cool breezes carried throughout the unit making the atmosphere very relaxing. Skylights & vaulted ceilings created a bright and open feeling as well.
I was delighted to discover the dream bed for any bear. At the push of a button, the mattress could go from too hard or too soft, to just right with the Sleep Number 5000 in the master bedroom. It had head and foot massage options too! The kitchen was fully upgraded and well-equipped for your every cooking need. Breakfast was enjoyed on the balcony with the lovely views as morning kayakers passed by.
Venturing to downtown San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge was a short 10 mile drive away. It was a true delight to explore the shops on Pier 39, visit the seals, and take photos of Alcatraz across the bay. I also got to boogie with my bear self in the tiki themed restaurant in the Fairmont Hotel called the Tonga Room. It was an unforgettable visit to Larkspur, CA with endless options for relaxation and entertainment!

We stayed three nights over the Thanksgiving holiday; I wish we could have stayed longer. The condo is comfortable, elegant, quiet, pristine, and with the most amazing views (even better than the pictures). Each morning we delighted in watching what was happening on the waterway below us: amazing birds, kayakers, rowers. The location is perfect for exploring San Francisco, Marin, and the wine country. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My husband and I just wanted a place not in San Fr. but convenient--This condo was perfect! Loved the location, view, and the extras such as washer/dryer and sleep # bed that raises. We also loved the nearby by restaurants. Would recommend timing travel plans into the city, but well worth getting out of city to stay. Beth was very accomdating. Thanks, KC friendsRecommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Our group of four southern GetAway girls found the Larkspur condo to be a great Home Sweet Home after a day of the city, the wine country and the beautiful San Reyes National Seashore. The view from the condo was just as wonderful as the pics present. We caught the Larkspur Ferry into the city and enjoyed seeing a new perspective of the great city. We would not hesitate to stay again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

Stayed here with my husband for four days late Sept (2011). I hated to leave. With all there is to do in the area and San Francisco, we didn;t leave enough time just to sit on the balcony or in the condo and just enjoy the wonderful view! Quiet neighborhood (which was really important to me!), great location. I took the ferry from Larkspur (about A 3 minute drive) to the city and also caught the Airporter back to the airport near the Larkspur ferry terminal. So convenient! Condo is equipped with lovely appliances, very clean and well-maintained. Very nice place. Would love to stay for a month! Owner very responsive to all inquiries. highly recommended.Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We stayed in this condo for five nights beginning on September 8. When we walked in the front door, it was "WOW!" Clean and beautifully decorated, the wall of windows on the water make for a very memorable visit to Larkspur. The kitchen was very well-equipped, and the washer-dryer was very convenient. We made several meals here, and loved having our appetizers on the balcony. The views of Mount Tam reflecting from the water are magnificent. The photos, while very nice, just don't do justice to the property. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the master bath is lovely. My wife particularly liked the Jacuzzi. Beth was extremely helpful and patient with us, and we would not hesitate to stay here again. We recommend this condo (and its owner) most highly.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We stayed at this property for four nights and it couldn't have been more wonderful. It was clean, up to date and very quite. The views were beautiful. It is only a few minutes from the golden gate bridge where we traveled everyday. We ate and shopped at the local stores down the hill. There is a walking path down from the condo. Convenient parking. We never heard the neighbors. I would highly recommend this great condo for a short or long stay. The owner was great in setting up our stay. The kitchen had many extras. The jet tub was well worth it after a long day of walking in the city. Enjoyed every minute of our stay!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We just returned from a 5-night stay in Larkspur at this condo, and we had a fantastic time! The photos on the ad don't do this property justice. The condo is spacious and clean and well-appointed with many thoughtful touches. The owners have clearly put a lot of effort into making the condo a comfortable place for guests, at every level, from the hand-made dishware to the high-end mattresses. We were in the Bay Area for my brother's graduation from UC Berkeley, and we were so pleased to find this place. The campus is not far from the condo (across one bridge that didn't seem affected much by rush hour). It was also very easy to get into the city (via a lovely ferry ride) and to get away to the rest of Marin County. The condo was a great place to come home to after a long day of sightseeing, and we had plenty of room for all of us to spread out and have our own space in the condo during the one day of rain we had. The upside to the rain was the beautiful rainbow that appeared over the water once the sun came out again. All of us spent time outside on the deck admiring the quiet view. Overall, I had an excellent time at the condo and I would absolutely stay there again. I've already recommended it to several friends. Thanks for a memorable vacation!Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
