Super location with all island amenities easily accessible by walking, biking or a relaxing golf cart ride from this recedntly renovated cottage style beach home. About a 10 minute walk to the beach. Just two blocks from the Marina Village restaurant, rentals, groceries, pool, dock and excursions. Close to the newer Ocean Creek Club with golf, Veranda Beach/Cabana Club pool complex, restaurants, playground, and Camp Fripp for kids. The amenities of the Beach Club with olympic and adult pools, Beach Club restaurant, food court, shops, beach rentals and tiki bar, are also in walking and biking distance.
The home's main, upper floor features an inviting, social kitchen/living/dining area opening in the front onto a large, screened porch with Bermuda shutters and in the back onto a grilling deck. Three bedrooms (1 King and 2 Queens) and two fully renovated baths complete the main floor. The downstairs features a large recreational room with tile flooring, a dry bar, foosball table, ping pong table, sectional sofa (with sleeper), big screen television, day bed with trundle, extra refrigerator and laundry room with 1/2 bath.
Hardwood and ceramic flooring for easy maintenance flow through all of the home. The two full baths have been very recently remodeled to include large walk-in tile and river rock showers. There are four televisions located in the living area with DVD player, recreation room, and two of the three bedrooms. The rear deck is perfect for gas grilling and watching the deer that frequently graze in the yard.
All of Fripp Island is easily accessed by walking, biking and golf cart which contributes to the laid back feeling and natural preservation of this special community. Sidewalks and walking/biking trails connect most of the island.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
About ten years ago, our family purchased 1/13th share of an oceanfront home on Fripp Island. Having access to this property four weeks a year simply whet our appetite to spend more time there, especially since our primary homes are so close by. Even though we live on a South Carolina sea island just 22 miles away from the gates of Fripp, coming to this lush, tropical, slow moving resort island calms our spirits and makes us feel like we are truly on vacation from the cares of the real world. Fripp has the right combination of a relaxed, low key environment; a serene natural preserve; and just enough restaurants, amenities and shops to provide entertainment. This home met the space needs of our family and was located in the area of the island that we desired.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We chose the Marina vicinity of the island because of its quick and easy access to the Ocean Creek club/golf course/pool complex, the Beach Club, and the beach. It is also a short two block walk to Marina Village with boat storage/dock/ramp, convenience store, bicycle and other rentals, and the Bonito Boathouse casual restaurant. Because the island is so small, most residents and visitors travel by foot, bicycle or golf cart. Bike paths connect the majority of the island.

Our family real estate business, Tideland Realty, as well as our individual homes are located on Lady's Island, just over the bridge from historic, downtown Beaufort and about a 1/2 hour drive from Fripp Island.

We had a wonderful stay at this home during the month of Feb through March. It is ideally located. You can walk to the beach everyday and down to the marina. The furnishings of this home were the nicest we ever experienced in the many years we've been renting at Fripp. We especially enjoyed the beautiful birds that came and visited us at the birdfeeder off the back deck. The golf cart was great to take rides around and of course our bikes got a work out too. Very close to the golf course which was an easy golf cart drive away. All in all a very comfortable place with nice dishes and cooking utensils which we appreciate since we en;joy cooking at home. We highly recommend this property and plan on coming back next year!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
