Every room boasts large windows and private balconies draw the eye toward the panorama of the ocean and the marsh. You will enter from the spacious covered parking garage into a large two-story impressive elevator foyer complete with a magnificent two-story window and balcony overlook. As your guests enter the lobby through the double glass front doors, they will be met by the Amelia Island Plantation emblem emblazoned on the tile floor and mirrored on the ceiling. We are a family of four with a wonderful son-in-law and a five-year old grandson Mac. I am an interior designer of 35 years and my husband is a retired attorney and real estate developer. We have one son Chad, who just graduated from the University of Georgia here in Athens, Georgia, where we've lived for 37 years. Our daughter Courtney is married to an attorney, and they live in Atlanta.
Why the Owner Chose Amelia Island Plantation
We've had several properties at Amelia Island, having visited there for many years. However, this is the first oceanside property we have had. The 5th floor right on the ocean is breathtaking and the high end quality of our unit and building is extremely hard to find. We wish we could visit Amelia more often but are unable to spend as much time as we would like. Therefore, we would like others to enjoy it as much as we do.
