THE GALLERY GUESTHOUSE is located on a nice block in the popular and lively neighborhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York, 15 minutes from Manhattan.
THE ROOMS are located in a newly renovated apartment with hardwood floors and two new bathrooms with marble floors. The apartment is furnished with vintage furniture and decorated with artworks from local and international artists. There is a full kitchen, sitting room, and a nice garden in the back of the house, all of which give the guesthouse a home away from home feel.
Each bedroom has its own style and atmosphere. The "Antique room" has direct street entrance and a double bed and a couch (or upon request: 2 beds), the "Green Room" features a queen bed and a private, in-room bathroom and the "Garden Room" with 1 double bed (best for 1 person) looks out on the terrace, flowers and trees.
The Gallery Guesthouse faces an impressive neighborhood landmark, the Williamsburg Bridge. At the end of the street you see the East River and Manhattan beyond it.
Along this waterfront are two parks, the newly renovated Grand Street Park and the newly opened North 8th Street State park which hosts popular "pool parties" in the summer. Beyond this is the large McCarren park with tennis courts, running track, handball courts, baseball field, etc. and will one day have a resort style large public pool.
The neighborhood great and one of the main attractions - with lots to explore including many cafes, diners, good restaurants, shops, boutiques, art galleries, nightlife and more. The guesthouse is conveniently located one block away from the main street: Bedford Avenue.
