  We loved Holly Lane Lodge! Nicely appointed, great family room, comfy couches and beds, fun ping pong table and nice touch to have 2 dishwashers! Fabulous for entertaining lots of family, but intimate enough for just 2 couples. We cooked and cooked!!!! Early fall mornings on the Deck and cool evenings rounded out amazing days of golf. Almost overkill for just 4 of us...but we will return!!!

  Our stay at Holly Lane Lodge was very, very comfortable. There were 12 of us; ages 5 to 66 and everybody had a great time. The house is spacious and the kitchen was more than equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook for a large group. The outdoor deck with hot tub and BBQ was outstanding! We hosted 35 for dinner one night and had enough plates and cutlery for everyone and there was enough seating outside on the deck for all. We used the bikes and pool passes which saved us lots and the ping pong and foosball tables kept the youngsters happy. The beds were super comfortable which meant a good night's sleep and each family had their own bathroom with one to spare. The house was in great condition with highend finishings and very clean. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

  Eight family members ranging in ages eleven to sixty-five had a blast in the Sunriver/Bend area and this property was the staging area for all our excursions. The kitchen was more than adequately stocked with every imaginable pot, pan, dish, and table wear for entertaining a large crowd, which we did on several occasions. Beware of the dishwashers though...they are not properly installed and are missing the the mounting screws that attach the unit to the underside of the cabinet...and they will tip and fall outward as you slide out the racks. Would have solved the problem myself, but there were no screwdrivers or screws to be found in the house. The hot tub along with all the deck chairs and tables were put to good use for outdoor entertaining. The bicycle path runs right behind the property, and while sitting on the deck, you can see all the cyclists and walkers passing by. The two downstairs full sized beds were reported to have been fairly comfortable. The upstairs king-sized bed was not very comfortable for either sleeper and the bed linens were extremely noisy when entering or exiting the bed or just moving about. The property seemed to be well maintained and provided activities with the seven bicycles, the pin-pong table, and the foos-ball table (even if it is a little beaten down and impossible to level). Access to the SHARK aquatic center is a plus, however the first week of July proved to be very busy for the facility. As posted earlier, Holly Lane is a good hub to work out of for activities into Bend, the forests, the Deschutes River, and the surrounding communities.

I am sorry to hear the dishwashers needed some attention but grateful you wanted to fix them yourself. Calling our housekeeper would have solved your problems as their helpful staff is available for repairs and to help you with your needs. Apparently a plastic waterproof mattress pad was accidentally bought and installed on the king bed to replace the old one. How embarrassing! Yes, that must have been noisy. We will get that replaced immediately so our guests can enjoy the high quality cotton sheets after a long day of play. Thank you for alerting us to these things so that we can get them corrected before the next guests arrive.

  In January the over 70 gang ski every year, 2012 was our 17th. year. We ski a different area each year. Mt. Bachelor Oregon was our destination. We stayed at Holly Lane in Sunriver,. We had a great stay. One of our guys is a semi-professional chef, he said the kitchern was one of the best. Everyone liked the sleeping arrangements. The hot tub, fireplaces, and garage added to our stay. This home far exceeded our past experience, we would recomend Holly Lane as first class.

  Just wanted to thank you for an absolute fabulous time in your beautiful home. Everything was as promised and then some, the video does not do justice to the comforts and homey feel of the space. You were so helpful with tips of places to go and responding to our questions.We enjoyed the kitchen/great room so much we hardly left, just enjoyed visiting and games. Ping pong matches were won and lost.The music/speaker system was a great bonus. We had one day/night of snow 3/4-3/5 and then beautiful weather. Your place was amazing and we so enjoyed spending time with our family. We hope it will be available in the future because we would love to go back when our schedules permit. I would recommend this home whole heartedly!

  Very enjoyable all the amenities we needed. Everything was close and it was nice to be able to use the new facility that has pools for adults and kids and outside events. Would definitely recommend the house and the property owner was quite helpful.

  You are in for a treat if you are lucky enough to stay at Holly Lane. The kitchen is fully stocked with more pots, pans and utensils than I have at my regular home. The layout is perfect, and is condusive to more than one family staying at one time. With such a spacious property, each person has their own space and no one needs to feel cramped. Our combination of kids and adults enjoyed the bikes, the ping pong and the hottub. Everything in this house is well thought out and arranged so that you don't have to worry, you can just relax and be on vacation!

  Recommended for: Families with young children.

  We go to Sunriver every July for at least a week and have been searching for that "perfect rental" to go back to every year. This year (2010) we found it! Holly Lane Lodge was the best rental house we have been to. It was very comfortably furnished (important for relaxing at the end of a long day with little kids), had a very well equipped kitchen (knives you can actually use! lots of good pots and pans), and it was very clean (important for a picky mom like me). We can't wait to return next year!

  House was as advertised. Walking into the front entry there are stairs on the left that lead to the second level. To the right there are two nearly identical bedrooms. Both have queen beds, large windows and full baths. One bedroom has a television. The great room leads into the kitchen which creates a large open space. Perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. there are large windows with a slider leading to the deck. Kitchen was spacious and easy to use, even has two dishwashers to keep up with entertaining. At the end of the kitchen, there is a laundry and separate water closet that leads outside to the hot tub. The garage is also accessed from the kitchen. At the top of the stairs there are two bedrooms, a smaller living room and a bathroom. The first bedroom is right at the top of the stairs and is equipped with with two nice size bunk beds and plenty of room for the kids. Walking through the living area there is a couch, game table and television. The bathroom and master bedroom are at the far end. All in all the house has nice spacious layout. Easy to feel at home.

  We stayed at the Holly Lane Lodge and we loved it! We had 4 adults and 2 small childern. We play ping pong, walked to the park, which is close. Ski had Thanksgiving dinner and just generally had a wonderful time. We will be using this house again in the spring/summer. They have a hot tub which we used. Everything was close, I really can't say enough nice things about this house. We would use it again and again.

RENTAL AGREEMENT AND RULES FOR HOLLY LANE LODGE ∗ I always advise buying trip insurance just in case something comes up and you can't make it. See the Rental Agreement and Rules item # 18 to compare and purchase policies. 1. CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 4 P.M. PST AND CHECK OUT IS 11 A.M. PST. NO Early Check-ins unless prior arrangements made with owner. 2. NO SMOKING: Sunriver is a smoke free environment. Any smoking forfeits damage deposit. 3. NO PETS are allowed due to allergies of the owners and other guests that rent the house as a pet-free house. Guests bringing pets into the house will forfeit their damage deposit. 4. DAMAGE INSURANCE POLICY: Through VRBO/HomeAway Guests may for their convenience purchase for $49. a damage insurance policy instead of paying a Security Deposit. Look for this in your automatic quote. OTHERWISE a SECURITY/RESERVATION DEPOSIT- of $500 is required, $200 for 1-4 nights. This must be received by a check through mail or Pay Pal within seven (7) days of booking the reservation. (Call of email for instructions if you would like to pay through Pay Pal.) The deposit automatically converts to a damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met, as well as # 2 and # 3 above, and # 8 below. a. No damage is done to house, property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay. c. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in refuse containers outside (through side garage door). For the good of all, we suggest taking your recyclables to the recycling center located between Circle 3 and 4 upon your departure. Soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. One load of laundry is started. d. All keys are left in the lock box and house is left locked. e. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. f. No linens are lost or damaged. TOWELS IN LAUNDRY ROOM CABINET AND UNDER SINK IN HALF BATH ARE MARKED AND TO BE USED FOR SHARC AND OUR HOT TUB. MAKE SURE YOU RETURN THESE TO HOUSE TO AVOID CHARGES OF $15. PER TOWEL. g. NO Early check-in or late check out. 5. PAYMENT is required 60 days before arrival. If reserving the house prior to sixty days before rental period, then full payment is due with security deposit. Ask for PayPal information if desired. 6. CANCELLATIONS: A sixty (60) day or longer notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty except if deposits were made via credit card. All credit card cancellations are subject to a 5% cancellation fee or $50 whichever is greater. All cancellations 59 - 46 days prior to rental period will forfeit the security/reservation deposit plus the credit card fee if applicable. Cancellations 45 days or less prior to rental period will forfeit full rental rate unless house is rebooked. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, or bookings made with 45 days of arrival date and then cancelled will forfeit the full payment. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. 7. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS: Monthly renters must cancel one hundred twenty (120) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-in. 8. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum number of guests is limited to 13 persons. More than 13 persons could result in loss of damage/fee and request to vacate the premises with a forfeiture of all rental payments. HOT TUB: Children under the age of 12 using the hot tub should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. When using the hot tub, remember there is certain health risk associated with this facility. Do not use if pregnant or using alcoholic beverages. Use at your own risk. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVERS, they will break and you may be charged for replacement. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm. 16. STORM POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS: No refunds will be given for snow storms. The Cascades mountain pass roads can be curvy and steep. We highly recommend four wheel drive and/or snow tires during the snow months. While most of the roads are plowed after heavy snow, you should carry chains in the snow months, especially if traveling over the Cascades mountain passes or on rural roads. We do not refund due to road conditions. 17. OWNERS: This house is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. 18.TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance. If you wish to purchase travel insurance, you can go to www.InsureMyTrip.com for details and to purchase. 19.ATTORNEYS FEE CLAUSE: In any arbitration or litigation concerning this agreement or subsequent rental of the property, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover all reasonable expenses of arbitration or litigation, including reasonable attorney fees at arbitration, at trial, and on any appeal or petition for review.
