This Bungalow by the Beaches and Bays of beautiful East Long Beach, California has two bedrooms and one full bath. The Master comes with a 32 inch flat screen, then steps out of french doors onto a private deck which also serves as a family area for afternoon sunbathing / evening cocktails. The front porch is ideal for sunny morning reading and coffee while chatting with other guests, family or friends. The living room is designed with relaxation in mind to stretch out on one of the couches or lounge in the Manhattan for reading. Watch your favorite movie or show with surround sound on a quad system for a brilliant movie room on the 50 inch flat screen TV. The dining room is adorned with a gorgeous mahogany table with marble legs that brings a formal and fun tone to any dining experience be it candle lit dinners for all or a festive brunch.
The Beach Bungalow comes with a smart office providing guests with a computer and printer / copier for their use. Work comfortably or chat with visitors in the office with its large comfortable leather lounges. The yard is roomy and fun for kids and adults with a number of uses. Visit Huntington Beach, Surf Capital of the World just 20 minutes south on a super scenic drive down through our beach communities seal, sunset, surfside, and then Huntington Beach on Pacific Coast Highway

Coffee, newspaper and idle sea-breeze conversation with family and friends on the sun splashed front porch every morning welcomed by the fresh cool sea-breeze straight off the bay is a day-starting favorite.
Mid-day can be breakfast down the block at the Potholder Cafe or Egg Heaven, then off to the beach at the shores famous "Horny Corner" where the kids and adults play and relax alike to calm waters and beautiful bay scenery, reading, sunning and sand castling! Swim, read, then back to the Bungalow for cold beers or a delicious cool Chardonnay on the back Deck of the house with more sun or shade to choose from while watching the sun set across the cactus and blooming flowers of the back house grounds. Walking to everything including dining out, or a day at the beach with family and friends brings us back to our wonderful vacation spot with our Bungalow By the Bay.

This started out as a wonderful experience. The owner is a very sweet man who takes great pride in his home. He went to great lengths to make adjustments to the home to accommodate my family coming from abroad. However, over the past three months, I have made six or more attempts to get in touch with the owner requesting that the security deposit be returned. The last correspondence I received was on May 9th indicating that it would be mailed and to inform him when I received it... no such luck. After reading the other review from last year indicating the same problem, I probably would not have been so relaxed about letting this much time pass. This is most unfortunate because the review would have been 5 stars if the owner would have simply replied to my emails and kept me updated on the status of my deposit.
Recommended for:
Perfect location & perfect house for myself, my wife, my daughter and our dog.

We stayed for two weeks at this property. The owner gave us passes to the Aquarium of the Pacific, greeted us when we got there and gave our deposit back in three days. The house was well furnished and the yard was very large. The yard was ideal for our Golden Retriever. 2nd Street and the beach were very close. We will definitely be back next year!!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We rented this property a year ago and still have not received our security deposit back after several e-mails from the owner in which he acknowledged that we were due our refund and promised to return it.

WHY DOESNT THIS WEBSITE UPDATE!???Our Beach Bungalow Property has been a wonderful favorite for families from all over the United States as well as from guests from Countries like Peru, Germany, Australia, Argentina and Mexico. Our guests have clearly been very pleased and have shared their thanks and in many cases a 2nd visit to our Beach Bungalow Property. A beautiful home in a gorgeous neighborhood near the bay has made for many very satisfied and very pleased guests and travelers. Our guests from Peru were a wonderful family and it is IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THEIR DEPOSIT HAS INDEED BEEN RETURNED.. AND THE DELAY RESOLVED.
