This wonderful villa, overlooking tall swaying coconut palms to a distant view of the ocean, is the place where ‘the stars’ slip-off-to when they want a well earned break.

Fisherman's Village is Just 5 Minutes Away: Fisherman's Village, with an abundance of wonderful oceanfront restaurants is five minutes away from the villa. When we are in town we come here many a night for dinner or great bars (no go go bars). With over 40 restaurants, you can choose from any kind of cuisine you can think of....Thai to Indian to Tapas to Italian to Steakhouses to Pizza.... And on Friday nights the village becomes a walking street and fills with street vendors. If you are staying at the villa on a Friday, we recommend you come down to walking street. Or just come into the village and get a massage. When we are on Samui, we usually go and have breakfast many mornings at Karma Restaurant (free internet) at the pier in Fisherman's Village---great people watching and a great morning view.
Bophut Beach just Five Minutes Away: Almost every renter asks....what is the closest beach. Bophut Beach is just five minutes away and fronts Fisherman's Village and continues for a kilometer on each side of the village. Swim, or jet ski, or simply sun at this beach.
Shopping, etc. Nearby: While the villa is nestled in the quiet of the hills, within five minutes you can go to Fisherman's Village, or the Beach, or there are a number of major markets (Big C, Makro Cash and Carry, Tesco Lotus) all within about seven minutes drive from the villa. There is also a large outdoor produce/fish market just at the entrance of Ring Road, just four minutes from the villa.
And if you want nightlife and want a louder level than Fisherman's Village provides, you're only about 15/20 minutes from Chaweng....and 25 minutes from Lamai...
Unlike staying in the South, being in the Bophut Hills area means that you have a villa that is tranquil by day and night, but close to restaurants, bars, cafes, galleries beaches and nightlife, so you can dial in the level of engagement you want with the outside world---and don't have to travel far.

The check in and check out process was really easy and convenient. All the facilities and furniture in the apartment is as same as the pictures on website. Mr. Bob and his colleague are very nice and patient. We are highly recommended this villa to anyone else. Thanks for everything you did for us. My wife and I recently returned from an absolutely fantastic vacation in Koh Samui. We had recently begun new jobs in a very busy Asian city and were really looking forward to our first break from work and some seriously well deserved relaxation. What made this trip just perfect for us wasn’t the island itself so much, but rather our decision to rent the house, Villa Samprasada. The house is just as lovely in person as it looks in the pictures on the website. Everything is very well maintained: the pool immaculate, all those fantastic lights for creating mood in the evening functioned wonderfully, speaker zones throughout the villa to create just the right musical mood, charming landscaping, screaming fast wireless Internet, big flat screen TV’s, a kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need. It’s quite obvious the owner cares a lot about the place and that he himself visits on a regular basis. These kinds of things don’t just happen without some serious dedication to the place. Renting the house was extremely easy, from the initial contact with Rob the owner, to being picked up at the airport by the smiling face of ‘Oh’, the young woman who manages the villa. We rented one of ‘Oh’s’ cars for the eight days of our stay. The rental price was great, came with full insurance and the car ran beautifully. Upon arrival there was tons of fresh fruit laid out, bottled water stocked up, really all you have to do is buy some food and start living like a local. Driving around town and walking along the beaches, I felt sorry for the other tourists who were stuck in, what were for the most part rather run-down looking hotels. All in all, it was easier to book this house and car then it would have been to book an all exclusive hotel, and yet the two experiences are worlds apart. The house sits up on a hill which overlooks the ocean. We drove into town most days, sometimes walked the beach, shopped for fresh seafood and fruits at the market, and would eagerly return to the villa to relax and look forward to an evening of fresh drinks, steamed clams and grilled fish in the comfort and privacy of our own home. Even though the view of the ocean is there as you drive down the hill for supplies, the house itself does not have a view of the ocean; probably it’s only down side. But, realistically, if it did have a view of the sea, the price would be three times as high and I certainly could not have afforded it. We had a fantastic time at the villa! It was our first time in Koh Samui and yet we ended up spending most of our time at Rob's beautiful retreat. The villa is situated up in the hills, giving you some relief from the heat, traffic and noise that can be encountered in other areas and resorts in Koh Samui. A true oasis. Everything we needed was within short driving distance including groceries, beaches, towns, markets and great roadside food (some of the best radna we have had anywhere in Thailand!). The layout and appointments of the villa were first rate. Loved having the option and flexibility of dining, bathing/showering and lounging outside. We are already planning our next trip to Rob's villa and I am sure some of our friends will be as well.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The owner has a great eye for detail and no comfort is neglected. The kitchen is well stocked with every applicance you could ever desire! The living room and outdoor dinning sala are very comfortable and great for entertaining. We hardly left the villa except to go shopping for groceries. The staff keeps the place very clean and Khun Oh provides instant service when requested. She also rented us a very nice car at an excellent rate. We had a fantastic time and plan on returning.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Additional information about rental rates
Booking includes one airport pickup and dropoff. Check in time is 3PM and checkout time is 10:30AM unless we know in the days just prior to your rental that no one is preceeding you or following you.
50% due at time of booking and the final 50% due one month before arrival. All bookings are non refundable as this is a one of villa, so we always recommend trip cancellation insurance.
Additional Fees and Taxes:
Plus 7% VAT. Electrical Charge of 8 Baht a Unit, which averages $15 to $20 a day, or you can flat it out at $17.50 a day (the villa looks so good lit up at night that no one ever seems to want to turn off the lights!).
