Here is an example of a typical family's stay in our Condo:
You arrive in the afternoon and are too tired to go to the beach. After you unpack, you drive to one of the many seafood restaurants in the area (perhaps the Original Oyster House). When you get back to your vacation home, Mom sees a romance novel she thinks she may like (it is vacation) and Dad sees a movie that he would like to watch. The kids pull out the laptop to check their e-mail then go down to the lobby to play in the arcade.
The next morning, Dad goes for a jog on the beautiful Beach Boulevard while Mom goes to the nearby Wal-Mart or Winn Dixie to get groceries. Of course, the kids are still asleep (the light blocking shades in the guest bedroom make it impossible to tell the sun has come up). The kids wake up to the smell of Dad--just kidding... bacon and the family has a nice breakfast on the balcony which overlooks the gentle Gulf of Mexico. Then it is off to the beach. You walk down the air conditioned walkway to the beachside pool. You notice the huge hot tub by the pool and the lazy river. You proceed down the boardwalk and end up right in the sand. But wait, one of the kids has to go to the bathroom. Not to worry, you turn around, walk back, enter your security code to get back in and there is a bathroom right by the beach side pool. Now everyone is hungry for lunch. You go back through the security gate, wash the sand off with the multiple shower heads and head back home.
That night you check out the indoor and outdoor pools (with hot tub) right in the lobby. You also take a break in the sauna.
The next day Dad and Jr. are off to enjoy one of the many beautiful Golf courses in the area while Mom and Sis check out the world famous Foley Outlet Mall. I have no facts to back this up but I believe this to be the first outlet mall in the US. Then at night, you go to the Hangout to enjoy a burger and a band from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana playing Cajun Zydeco music.. Aaayyyeeee this is fun.

If you've ever had a beach vacation ruined by rain, or if you haven't yet, you should consider this lovely condo. The indoor pool was great and very convenient to the lobby. The 2 outdoor pools and hot tub were excellent, too. The dreaded trek to the beach with little kids and stuff in tow was a non-issue because of the air conditioned, safe walkway over the highway. The condo is comfortable and perfect for a beach getaway.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

This unit was perfect for our visit during the Mardi Gras season! The unit is well maintained and just like the photos showed. Close to many great seafood restaurants - Doc's, Bahama Bob's, Shrimp Basket, Original Oyster House are just a few of the ones we sampled and enjoyed. All the amenities: pools, hot tubs, sauna are excellent. Owner was quick to respond to any concern. Would and have recommended this unit to friends and family. Would not hesitate to return in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

Me, my wife & 2 kids just returned from a six night stay. The condo was perfect for us. There was plenty of room, a great view of the beach, nice kitchen and awesome pools. Although the condo is across the street, the skywalk made the trip to the beach quick & easy. We booked early with David, he was great to work with. The pictures dosen't do this condo justice, I was very surprised when we actually went in the room. I very much recommend this condo, we vist Gulf Shores frequently and have never stayed at the same condo because we want to see what the others have to offer. But we plan on contacting David to stay again the next time we come.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

I would like to write a review from my stay in July 2009. We loved the condo and the property. My 4 year old loved it also. The owners are very nice and everything was as described. It was a clean condo - which is very important to me. I would recommend this property and in fact, we are considering staying this summer 2011. Unable to go in 2010 and hope to return this summer 2011. Dave, we'll be in touch.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

Crystal Tower is absolutely beautiful! For my children, it was fantastic! 3 pools! The one by the beach is awesome! The condo is also great...everything you need is there except your food. It is very clean and spacious. Also, it was a great deal! We will definitely stay again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We just returned from a family vacation to Gulf Shores, and absolutely LOVED our stay at 702 Crystal Tower! The condo was exactly as described, and the scenery/pools/etc far exceeded our expectations! The spacious pool never felt crowded, and the hot tub was nearly as large as a pool itself! The water was clear, beautiful, and oil-free! Dave was very helpful!! I know I will DEFINITELY be staying here on our next visit to Gulf Shores! I can't imagine a better place for our family! My college age daughters and I stayed here for our first visit to Gulf Shores and it was GREAT!!! The condo is very roomy and in great condition. The beach is just a short walk away, so are the pools and hot tubs. Close to Wal-Mart to get any groceries you may want. The kitchen has everything you need to cook homemade meals - which is always a plus while on vacation. The owners are extremely nice people and make the process very easy. I would stongly encourage others to stay here!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This was our first family holiday (with a 2 yr old) and everything was fantastic. The condo was clean and perfect for our needs. Our son loved breakfast on the balcony watching the waves. The pools were clean and lots of fun, the walkway to the beach was very convenient and easy for us, we can't say enough about the condo itself and the facility. We had a really great time staying in the Mills' lovely condo. It was very quiet and relaxing. The owners were super in responding to our emails about renting the condo. They seem like a really great family. The kitchen was well stocked and even had pots to boil bottles for our 5 1/2 month old son's first vacation. About the owner: Hi we are Dave, Lauri, David Jr. (DJ) and Mark Mills. Dave is a Financial Advisor and Lauri is an Elementary Special Education /Gifted Teacher. DJ is in Third and Mark in first. We love to do things together as a family. We thought we would buy a vacation get-away not too far from our home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Having the condo on the beach is a great advantage for us because our kids are very active. They both love the water and swimming, as does mom. There are so many fun things in Gulf Shores for us to do as a family, that it makes a great weekend get-away for us.
Why the Owner Chose Crystal Tower:
Gulf Shores is a beautiful beach town. It is much smaller than the nearby Florida beach towns. The traffic is not bad and it is more of a family atmosphere. Alabama is rated as one of the best golf destinations. There is more golf in the area than we can list. For family fun you can visit the nearby Waterville USA, Adventure Island, or The Track. In addition to the lovely beach right past the condo pool, there is parasailing and charter fishing nearby.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
While staying in our Condo you will find about 100 VHS movies. Most of them are PG or G rated (perhaps a few action movies may have slipped in). You will also find paperback novels for your beach reading. The decor is beach oriented and the furnishings are comfortable. The complex is very kid friendly because there is so much to do away from the beach. You can relax on the complex side in one of the pools or hot tub without having to worry about the kids wandering to the beach. Waves, is a brand new establishment only two blocks west of the Tower, opened recently. This convenient little plaza contains a Shake’s Custard Ice Cream Shoppe, a neighborhood grocery and package store, and Foxy’s Seafood Bar & Grill. There is even live music! All this within walking distance. About a mile away is the Hangout. It is a restaurant and bar that has live music outdoors. You can wear your shorts and flip flops and dance the night away with your spouse and your kids. It is a very family friendly bar and restaurant . They also have the "coolest" ceiling fan you have every seen.
