A Paradise for Bird Watcher's Indeed!

We loved our two week stay here! We really did spend a good deal of our time watching and filming all of the birds. Because the property is actually in the tree tops, the birds were at eye level. We saw Toucans and parrots as well as many other colourful birds and their babies. We really enjoyed actually being in the clouds while it rained, a beautiful experience. We spent a lot of our time in the pool, eventhough Denise and Eduardo directed us to the most perfect beach we have ever been to. I am not exaggerating; please ask them about it. We had the whole beach to ourselves and the waves were perfect to play in; there was no rip tide. It was a few minutes away from the house. We found that renting a vehicle was helpful; we were able to get to many interesting places close to the house: restaurants, beaches, shopping,etc. We never did figure out where the waterfalls were, but it didnt take anything away from our visit; we were always satisfied. There aren't a lot of things to do as you walk out your front door, the house is located on a steep hill with just enough area for the house , the pool and carport. Again, as long as you have a car, that is not important. But even if you don't have a car, taxis are cheap and there are enough restaurants, etc. around to make it worthwhile taking the occasional taxi. The house was clean, comfortable, and well furnished. More suitable for a couple because of the limited bedrooms. Still, it's a house we could see ourselves owning. We had nothing but good experiences when talking with the owner or the property managers, Denise and Eduardo. We would definetly recommend this house.

We just spent the last week here and it was one of the best in Costa Rica we have stayed. The view was great and the pool was very refreshing. The pool did drown a couple of small frogs though. We had another couple with us and do wish the back bedroom was usable for the size and a/c. We would stay again if this was so but for two it is great. Denise was more than a great hostess and their hotel was amazing to say the least. We would reccamend this house to anyone. You can't beat the price.

Sorry for not writing this sooner. My fiancee and I stayed there 12/09. (Aaron & Kathy from North Dakota) The home and the grounds are wonderful. Its like this...You have your sweeheart, you have a beautiful house, beautiful weather, an awesome pool, beautiful views, nature, ceviche (2nd one out of Uvita my favorite) and Denise and Edwardo are helpful if needed. However, we really didnt need them as it was all good, but we did enjoy meeting them. We hope to return again soon

We really enjoyed this cozy and very private home. This truly is a "Bird Watcher's Paradise." Every day we saw many different species of birds and the views of the mountains and jungle surrounding us were incredible. It was such a pleasure waking up each morning with a great cup of Costa Rican coffee and just sitting to enjoy our lovely, peaceful surroundings. The beaches nearby are fantastic and there are so many exciting tours and activities to partake in. We ziplined, took a boat ride to the famous Corcovado Nacional Park, hiked and rode horseback to an incredible waterfall. We even had some incredible meals in the quaint town of Ojochal nearby. Thanks Denise and Eduardo for everything and taking such good care of us, you are the best. We will never forget our first trip to CR.

VRBO 236395 (Bird Watcher's Paradise) is a wonderful place to stay during your Costa Rica vacation. This was our third trip to the south pacific of Costa Rica and this house rates right up there with the other 2 VRBO properties we rented. The location is very quiet and peaceful, but close enough to fantastic beaches and restaurants. We were greeted every morning by toucans, parrots, hummingbirds, and countless other visitors. The property managers, Denise and Eduardo, are amazing. I highly recommend this property.
