This two bedroom plus loft house sits on a quiet cul de sac with a view of the trees. Located within mall and Fort Rock Park walking distance, it is a perfect meld of “cabin in the woods” and modern comfort.
The light and bright living room is tastefully decorated with cabin décor, wood-paneled walls, a rock mantle and new gas wood-burning style stove. In-home entertainment options include a 32-inch TV, DVD, VCR, CD player with surround sound and a good selection of movies, books, puzzles, board games and family games. Free Wi-FI access in-home.
Just outside the living room and dining room, the large spa and spacious private new Trex deck, complete with gas grill and deck furniture, beckon you to relax. We have four adult cruisers available for guests.
There is sleeping for six or eight in this comfortable home. The two bedrooms are tastefully decorated, each with a "Heavenly" Beautyrest queen/oversized queen mattress (just like the Westin carries). The upstairs shower is newly tiled and gorgeous! The downstairs bedroom has a TV and DVD. The large loft has a queen bed, a sitting area and a built-in desk. There is a full bath on each floor. One of the two living room couches is a sleeper sofa. All linens are high thread-count and unique (no boring white here!)
With tile on the counters and floor, the kitchen is well stocked with all amenities, including a large selection of spices and all the cooking tools and utensils you will need (griddle, juicer, crock pot, etc.) The range/oven, dishwasher and fridge are also newly updated.
There is plenty of room for parking between the garage and the large paved driveway. There is also ample storage space for toys and gear in the oversized one-car garage and entry-way closet.
Access to Maverick's, Sunriver's newest beautiful health club, is available. Maverick's offers a great gym with all the typical gym equipment like weights and machines, classes and a basketball court. It also offers a rock-climbing wall, high speed internet access and indoor pools. There is an indoor lap pool, a great children's pool and a "waverider" for simulated surfing. 8% of the nightly rental fee is charged for access to Maverick's and Sunriver pools, tennis courts, etc year-round.
Located off of Beaver Road, the home is centrally located between Sunriver’s two entrances and within walking distance of the mall and restaurants. In the summer, bike through Sunriver or enjoy the Sunriver resort pool and tennis courts. Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2003
My first taste of Sunriver was when my family held a reunion at Sunriver when I was 8. In college, my now husband and I used to visit Sunriver every Spring to compete in a fun race called Pole, Peddle, Paddle. After we married, we continued to vacation in Sunriver and thought, wouldn't it be fun if we could buy our own place? We still travel the world for fun, but always enjoy coming back to our home away from home in Sunriver.
Why the Owner Chose Fort Rock Park
We call this house our "worst case scenario" house. Because, in 2003 when we tentatively considered buying a house, we cautiously said "OK, what is the worst thing that could happen if we look? Our worst case scenario was that we would find a house that we loved and have to buy it. Our worst case scenario has turned out to be the best house! Why did we buy it? Well, since we had been visiting Sunriver for so long, we knew exactly what we wanted and we knew we found it in our house. We wanted a location that was easy to get to, with great access to Sunriver’s amenities from car, bike or foot. We also wanted to be off the main road, with enough space to feel like we were out of the city. In this home, we like the open floor plan, the “great room” feel and the big windows. The house is the perfect size--- not too big, but big enough in the right places. We have been renting our home since May 2003 and have many return renters. We love visiting the home in all seasons and we especially enjoy taking our five and three year-old children and two big dogs (Great Dane and a Golden Retriever.) We hope you like our house as much as we do!
The Unique Benefits of this House
My favorite things about the house- 1) the large deck and big hot tub. I love watching stars at night! 2) The gas fireplace. It is so warm and cozy (and efficient!) 3) The open floor plan. This house has all the space in the right places- the living room, dining and kitchen. 4) Sunriver, in general. One of my favorite things to do is walk to coffee on the beautiful Sunriver paths with our kids and dogs in the morning. We look forward to walking to the new aquatic center in the future!

My wife and I, with my 78 year old father, just returned from 3 nights in this wonderful Sunriver cabin. The cabin is the ideal balance between kick-back comfort and modern convenience. We ate all but 1 meal in, and were impressed with the very well appointed kitchen. Everything we needed was there: from a broad range of cooking pots, pans, and bowls, down to nice wine glasses. One night was a bit chilly, so we fired up the gas fireplace - great warmth and ambiance. The new tile shower upstairs adds a fresh touch, and shows that the owners are engaged in the property and interested in ensuring that you enjoy your stay. The garage, in which we stored our car and two mountain bikes, adds another level of convenience and security. When you go to Sunriver, this is a great place to stay!

Thank you for another wonderful spring break getaway! Although not as much snow as last year. We enjoyed riding bikes, hot tubbing and inner-tubing at Mt. Bachelor. Your house is warm and cozy and all of our daughters loved the warm beds and surround sound in the living room. (Dad liked it, too!) Thanks again. Lori, Mike, Christina, Alyssa, Emily and Cody (the dog).

We've rented several houses over the years in Sunriver and #19 is by far our favorite! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us and especially for making it a dog friendly getaway! Flynn had a blast frollicking in the snow and we had great days skiing and nights cooking and relaxing. (The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with cooking tools!) We hope to be back soon. Jeff, Mellissa and Flynn. Submitted by owner from house guest book.

Thanks for another wonderful vacation at #19 East Butte. We love it here so much (especially me). There is no place I've ever been that has so much to offer and is so relaxing and QUIET! We played tennis everyday and biked of course. Thank you so much for having the bikes available. We brought 2 and needed 4 more. We are all sad to leave. School will start soon and we will have to look forward to summer 2008. Goodbye Sunriver and the special memories of #19. Thank you for sharing your home. Becky, Dave and the boys. We sure enjoyed ourselves this past week in your home. The location was nice and quiet on the large cul de sac. Lots of sun, biking and hiking. The hot tub was great to relax in the evenings. Look forward to coming back!
