Close to downtown shopping, restaurants and the Blackbird Museum. There are two beach areas within easy walking distance. Mackinaw Island is a quick drive and boat ride away or spend some time in Mackinaw City and visit the Mackinac Fort.
Take a leisurely drive though the "Tunnel of Trees" and visit Cross Village and then continue north to Sturgeon Bay and the beautiful sandy beaches and dunes in the area.
Petoskey is a short drive with wonderful shopping in the Gaslight District and an attractive waterfront.
