We rented the peaceful coastal cottage for three months from January 5th to April 6th 2013. When we arrived the house was immaculate, the linens and towels all excellent quality, couldn't have better in our own home. We found the house comfortable, much more spacious that we hand anticipated from the photos. We spent a lot of time on the back porch, we ate our meals, took our afternoon cocktails, read and entertained on that wonderful back porch. We have a dog so the large yard was especially appreciated and our Max had great fun running after the lizards and the one squirrel. We enjoyed seeing the white ibis that came to feed in the neighbour's and our backyard and being bird enthusiasts we enjoyed watching the many species of birds that flew around the neighbourhood. The neighbours were very friendly and that made our stay even better since we really felt part of the community. They were not intrusive, they waved hello, walked their dogs along with us on occasion and were generally friendly. We are ardent cyclists and enjoyed our rides on A1A along the Atlantic towards Palm Beach and in the other direction towards Delray Beach. This was our first experience as "snow birds" and we could not have picked a better location or home.

We spent the month of Oct here. I don't know how it could have been any better. My first impression was how clean everything was. The cottage, furnishings, & appliances are very nice, & are exactly like the pictures. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. Our little Westie was as comfortable as we were. He loved chasing gecko's in the back yard & the area is perfect for walks & riding bikes. We left his crate in the kitchen & took "kiddie" gates so we could leave him without worry. We spent pleasant mornings on the patio drinking coffee, walked often to the boat docks, rented power boats at the nearby marina, and enjoyed both the Oceanfront Beach and Hammock Park beach on the intracoastal. The neighbors are friendly & the owner is always readily available to answer questions. We enjoyed grilling on the new gas grill & comfortably entertained family & friends. We loved convertible rides to Singer Island, Palm Beach, Delray Beach, Boca, & Lauderdale. Without hesitation would recommend this cottage, & we look forward to a return visit.

Great February in Boynton Beach

Our month-long stay at the Peaceful Coastal Cottage was wonderful. The house is actually larger than the photos appear. The layout was very convenient, with split bedrooms and a handy serving bar in the kitchen. Our dog especially liked the fenced back yard and covered patio - great for early morning coffee and conversation. All of the necessities were there, including 4 beach towels, 2 beach chairs, a gas grille, and a bicycle for riding around the neighborhood. The area is picturesque and safe. We enjoyed walks by the marina and chatting with the neighbors. We have friends / family in Boynton, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, and Fort Lauderdale - the house is a perfect location for visiting all of those areas. The month flew by! I would highly recommend this house to future travelers.

"Peaceful coastal cottage" was indeed, just that! Listing description was very accurate, as well as the photos. The house was clean, well stocked, had a great covered patio where we enjoyed a family barbaque one night. The little neighborhood is well hidden and very quiet and peaceful. The house was immaculate! My only disappointment was that we didn't have more cable channels...we are news junkies!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Great Pet-Friendly Vacation Rental

We were visiting the area with our dogs and needed a place to stay near family in Delray Beach - the Peaceful Coastal Cottage exceeded our expectations! The house was so clean and roomy, and very comfortable and relaxing - the house had everything (including great high-speed internet). All the linens were like new, the bed was very comfy, the bathrooms were super clean, and the kitchen contained everything you needed if you wanted to cook and eat in. The air conditioning worked great - the house remained cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet (and safe), and we all enjoyed strolling around and watching the boats on the water. The house location was very convenient to everything we needed - just a few minutes to everywhere...shopping, restaurants, the beach, sightseeing on A1A. The fenced yard and attached garage were added conveniences - made it really easy vacationing with our dogs. The owner is very quick to respond to any questions, and always accessible. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting the area - and hope to return again next year!

We spent a month in transition here while we moved from out of state. The house is well appointed with everything you need to live comfortably-- all the amenities of daily life. There are also some very thoughtful extras like beach chairs, buckets, a grill, etc that really make it feel like home. The house is spacious, there was plenty of room for our family to spread out and also great spaces to come together and share. Spotless too! We usually ditch the habit of not wearing shoes inside with rentals because you end up with dirty feet- not here! It was wonderful. We also really enjoyed spending time at the nearby beach, it was never crowded, and driving down the A1A; access to both are a short 3-5 minute drive from the house. It's also close to 95 for quick access to longer commutes! And lots of shopping nearby. As if the house itself wasn't enough, Lisa was fantastic. She is a native of south Florida and happy to share info! So helpful. She exceeded our expectations as a hostess; was prompt, clear and responsive. And beyond that she is just a genuinely kind person. We couldn't have asked for better. Thank you so much for welcoming us into your vacation home! We are so glad we chose to stay here and would recommend it without reserve.

Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient

We found the Coastal Cottage to be a great place to spend our time in Boynton Beach. The owner was very prompt in answering any questions and responding to correspondence. The master bedroom worked well for my couple friends and I stayed in the room with two twin beds which would have been good for children as well. There was plenty of room for all of us to spend time together in the main room as well as to have quiet alone time on the lanai or in the living room. Everything we needed was included in the cottage from the coffee maker to beach towels and chairs. We were able to rinse our dive gear and hang it out every night in the secure garage to dry. It was great to have the washer and dryer too. There was plenty of off-street parking and it was close to the beach (over the intercoastal on the bridge) and restaurants. It was easy to find, not far off the interstate, and a quick drive up or down the coast to different beach towns. We would definitely stay again!

This home was so suited for us. Lisa made our stay meet our every need. Since we had family visiting we were so happy with plenty of linens on hand. The home was equipped with everything. Every time I thought I needed to buy something, I found it there for my use. The home was easy to keep clean and free of any odors. The neighborhood was very quiet. We had our dog with us and he loved the porch and yard and cool tiled floors. Lisa was very easy to work with and very accommodating. Great job Lisa!

My daughter and I live in Boynton Beach, Florida. We had to find a home to stay in for a couple of months while our house was being repaired due to water damage. We were lucky enough to have found this beautiful cottage. I was surprised at how spacious it actually is. The home is very clean and the master closet is the size of a bedroom. Everything is included, including a BBQ. The neighbors in this community are very friendly. What stands out to me are the owner's. They were very flexible with the time frame we had due to changes in my home reconstruction. They are extremely friendly and it was a pleasure meeting them. I am thankful for all of their help during a difficult time for my family.

This home met all my expectations. It was in a wonderful safe harborside neighborhood which was close to the ocean, Delray, Boca Raton and West Palm. There was so much to do in the area. The neighbors were friendly and my dog had a great yard to play in. The home was clean, maticulous and best of all the owner was fantastic to work with. I highly recommend this wonderful coastal home and can't wait to come back

This home worked really well for us and our dog. It was immaculate and in a safe neighborhood. It is very easy to get to Delray, Boca Raton and north to Palm Beach from this location. We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very responsive and wonderful to deal with.

Great Vacation Home This home was fantastic. It was immaculately kept and beautifully appointed. It is in a beautiful and safe neighborhood in Boynton Beach. It's hard to explain how much we loved the house. It was so comfortable & we felt right at home. Had such a great time & would love to rent the house again. Love the neighbors. So friendly & nice. Going on the 4th of July is really fun as you have the fireworks in your front yard, The owner is a delite to work with & so helpfull.

The photos online do not do this house justice! Spacious, comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated, I felt at home the moment I walked thru the front door. Located steps from the inlet and minutes to the ocean, restaurants and shops, it is close to everything, yet off the beaten path in a small, quiet residential waterside community. I loved everything about this house and would not only recommend it, I plan on returning on my next visit to the area.
