In just steps you will be at the beach working on your tan and enjoying the surf! Located half way between the quaint village of Capitola and the Yacht Harbor with the Santa Cruz Boardwalk a few more miles down the road! Many restaurants and coffee shops are walkable. Hot surf spots are right down the street. Dine great restaurants just a short ways away. The location is great but you should see the house!
Newly remodeled its rooms look like they jumped out of a decorator magazine! Beach themes and colors make your vacation even more memorable! The deck is a perfect place for sipping wine and watching the sun go down while sailboats skirt on the horizon. When it gets cooler, switch on the deck heaters and you can enjoy your meal right on the deck! The set up is perfect for 2 families as the house has 2 master suites each with their own bathroom (one has a King bed, the other has a Queen). The other 2 bedrooms are equipped with a twin and a double bed each and share a bathroom jack and jill style. There is an ample sized, grassed backyard. This house is not your everyday rental with hand-me-downs. Everything is as comfortable and nice as your own home. The house is fully stocked whether you are barbecuing or picnic-ing at the beach. You bring the food but leave the rest at home! Even your beach towels--all provided! And when your day at the beach is done, rinse off in the outdoor shower with hot water!
We have had nothing but positive feedback on this house and you will want to come back to again and again!

We love to vacation in Santa Cruz! It is close to where we live so we can pop over for even a night. We also have relatives in the area which makes going over to Santa Cruz extra special!

We are Gregg and Emily Nelson. We grew up in San Jose, Ca and every summer we'd head over the hill to the beach. Such memories at the Boardwalk and at the many great beaches! So we were excited when we could buy a home in Santa Cruz.
It's so great to sit on the deck and watch the waves break on the shore, watch families gathering for a fun day and see the boats enjoying the open water. We love the casual atmosphere and seemingly slower pace of life in Santa Cruz. Walking to coffee and watching the surfers is a favorite weekend pastime. We hope you enjoy this lovely get-away as much as we do!

My family (hubby, son, daughter in law, 5 year old, 3 year old, daughter, son in law, 13 year old, 10 year old) stayed here earlier this month. We all LOVED it! The listing and photos were totally accurate. The owner is a pleasure to work with...property is well maintained. Have already recommended it to others, and hoping to make a return visit soon.

We recently stayed at this great beach house for a girls' weekend and had a great time. The eight of us adults slept comfortably and had plenty of room. The house is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and has every bell and whistle. The kitchen was a dream and was stocked with just about everything for baking and seasoning. We really couldn't have asked for more! The photos depict the property perfectly but in person it's even better. We loved having our early morning cup of coffee on the patio overlooking the beach. The grill was great for BBQ'ing and the entire upstairs is great for entertaining. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby and the beach is literally across the street. Great place for a weekend getaway or family vacation. I'm taking note of this property and plan to stay here again next time we make it to Santa Cruz!

Spent one week here with another family. Four adults, 4 little ones. House was fantastic. We've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, and this might be the best I've seen. Exactly as advertised. Beautifully decorated and maintained, supplies galore, toys, towels, etc. We needed nothing but food and drink. Often vacation kitchens are ill-equiped or stocked with rusty knives and old, dented pots and pans. This kitchen was better equiped (great knives, pans, utensils, spices, coffee, olive oil, etc.) than my own, and I'm into the culinary arts. Location is also great, just a one minute walk across the street and you are at the beach. The outdoor showers and beach gadgets were an added bonus. Thanks for helping make a great vacation for us.

This is a fantastic home to spend a weekend, a week, or more! It's conveniently located between the Boardwalk and Capitola. Lots of great restaurants, shopping, and beaches are nearby. The house itself is nicer than any model home I've seen. It's beautifully decorated. I wish my home looked as nice. I can't wait to go back!

We stayed at this beach house with another family and it fit all of us comfortably. Decorated beautifully, great BBQ and deck to have dinner and drinks watching sunset or stars. We walked to capitola for breakfast, had fire on beach for s'mores. Enjoy this charmer
