Bayside at Bethany Lakes is an ideal location for your family vacation - a small resort community with first class amenities. The community is located on the White Creek/Indian River Bay – approximately 1.5 miles from Bethany Beach via Fred Hudson Blvd – quiet even on the summer’s busiest weekends.
The centerpiece of the community is the 15,000 ft clubhouse – formerly the Old Mill Crab House. This beautifully renovated building houses an indoor pool and hot tub, a first class fitness center, game room (billiards/ ping pong/video game), a bar, great room, kitchen and library with WiFi. It is a great place to unwind at the end of the day and watch the sunset over the bay.
Our home has four bedrooms and three and a half baths. There are two master suites (1st floor Queen Bed and 2nd floor King Bed) each with their own bathrooms with separate shower and tub. There are two additional 2nd floor bedrooms – one with two twin beds and one with a twin / trundle bed. The home comfortably accommodates eight (8) people - perfect for a family and guests. The second floor has a full size washer and dryer.
The 12 foot ceiling living area has a gas fire place. The living area leads to a front deck. The modern kitchen is fully stocked.
Entertainment – There are TV’s in the family/living room and every bedroom. There are DVD players in the living room and both the first floor and second floor master suites. A TV and X-Box console along with half a dozen games are available in the twin/trundle bedroom for guests use.
The two car garage provides ample safe storage for beach stuff / bikes.

The owners have vacationed at the Delaware Beaches for over 15 years. We have insured the home has all of the items a family will need for a week’s stay at the beach. Guests are free to use:
- Two kayaks for use at the Bayside at Bethany Lakes kayak launch
- Adult sized bike
- Beach Cart, beach chairs (4), beach umbrella, a beach cooler, beach toys
There is a guest fee of $25/person (over age 4) per week or $6/day for use of clubhouse / pool - payable by guest at the clubhouse.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Bethany Lakes
We have vacationed for years in the Bethany Beach area. The location of Bayside at Bethany Lakes is perfect as it sits on the Indian River Bay - but is a short ride to the beach/ downtown Bethany. The community's amenities are exceptional. The clubhouse's indoor pool, top notch fitness center, game room and great room are great for families. The outdoor pool, tennis courts, dock and kayak launch provide other activities to pursue when away from the beach.
Located one half mile to the north of the community is James Farm Ecological Preserver. With 3 miles of trails, visitors can walk to the sandy beach on the Indian River Bay through trails and boardwalks that pass through the forest of pines, oak and hickory trees.
18 hole Executive Style (3000 yd) Golf Course. Course is short but challenging. Course/grounds are very well kept. Walking distance to the community.

We had a wonderful vacation! The accommodations were excellent and the owners were extremely accommodating and helpful. The answered all of our questions and gave helpful information on restaurants, beaches, parking, and directons. The whole process was very easy. The clubhouse has a great pool that is just a short walk away. We would definitely stay again!

Teh Marchese townhouse is the perfect getaway for a weekend or week at the beach! It is a short drive or bike ride to the center of Bethany, but also provides a ton of activities right in the complex. The pool and clubhouse are GORGEOUS! You cna even bring food and drinks up and use the poolside grill. The people that live/rent there are all very nice and friendly! The home is beautifully furnished. It all seemed new and well kept. We went for the 4th of July, but could imagine this being a great off season getaway as well! The Marchese's are great to work with and very accomodating. Thanks for a great getaway!
