Upstairs loft area has TV,DVD, and Sony PS2 lots of books and games to enjoy, perfect for the young and young at heart to hang out. Very large side yard, for that friendly game of baseball or football. If you feel like a lazy day, relax in the hammock in the private back yard.
Outside shower with hot and cold water to rinse off after a day at the beach. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch or screened in back porch. Lots to do with 4 beaches close by. Shop in downtown Kennebunkport or visit LL. Bean in Freeport.

We had a wonderful week in August. The weather was great, but the best part was arriving to such an amazing house, even better than we could have imagined. Spotless, so comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The screened in porch was my favorite spot to sit and relax and read. My Granddaughters just loved their spacious bedrooms and the loft area is ideal for children. The big excitement was making friends with the two most gentle dogs next door, Shadow and Ottis and couldn't wait to throw the ball for them. Good Rocks Beach is an amazing Beach especially for children and is my most favorite beach. We loved going into Kennebunk,the stores are lovely and great place for ice cream. Ogunquit is also a lovely place to visit and be sure to check out the Marginal Way at Perkin's Cove, a wonderful walk looking at the ocean and wonderful gardens.Great shopping at the outlets. We would highly recommend this home to anyone,and hope to be back next year.The owner was wonderful to deal with.
Owner response:I am so glad that you had a great time. You did a lot of great things while you were there and I agree Goose Rocks is the best for old and young alike. I love to go over to Timber island at low tide to check out the treasures amoung the rocks and tide pools. LLBean is so close and many of the sports fans who stay also like to go to Portland to catch a Sea Dogs game, great baseball and very family, and wallet friendly. Did you get a chance to check out the amazing new restaurants across the street at Hidden Pond? I Hope that you can make it back again in 2012 we will be adding a few new things to the house.

We had a wonderful week at this lovely home. The house was better than expected. It was clean, spacious, and private. We loved the large screened in porch and the kids enjoyed playing ball in the yard. The beach was only a mile away and very family friendly. It is our new favorite beach in ME. Kennebunkport is charming with lots of quaint shops and restaurants. We will be back next year!

That was a must for me when we designed the house, adding the outside deck off it made it good for all day. Did you go to the great playground about a mile from the house. We had a great time. The house was very large and clean. My daughter loved to play in the garden with the neighbors 2 dogs. The beach was a 2 minute drive or a 7 minute bike ride from the house. Part of the deck was screened in so the mosquitos don't bother you at all. We will be back next year.

I am not sure if you also did the more challenging route just go left out of the driveway. Not a lot of traffic but lots of areas to explore. Your home was very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The home is as pretty has the photos. Homeowner is wonderful to work with! If you want to relax and see Maine- you will love this rental. Lots of room to spread out- kids can be in the loft or in one of the many spacious rooms! Kennbunkport, Portland and Goose Rocks - awesome! We loved the Maine Diner just 15 mins from the house. Everything is so cookie cutter cute!
Owner response:Thank you for the lovely review. The Maine Diner has been a longtime Maine favorite and is in Yankee magazine favorites yearly, along with the Clam Shack in downtown Kennebunkport. Wolf Lobster just a mile away has great lobsters and they will even cook them for you if you want. One of the many great lobster places around us. I hope that you got a chance to see some of the great beaches around us, Fortunes Rocks, Hills Beach, Mothers Beach, Gooches Beach, Kennebunk Beach and of course my very favorite Goose Rocks Beach. It is lovely to take a short walk there before or after dinner. I am so glad that you had a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

We just returned from a nice, relaxing week here. The weather was wonderful and the house was great! It was a great layout for a large family--everyone got there own space. The location is nice: tucked away from all the traffic. But it was easy to get to Portland (30 minutes), the little coastal towns (Kennebunkport, etc) and the beaches. Go to Goose Rocks beach. It is worth the parking costs. Or, go after hours. I went early (6am!) with my Dad one day to shoot some photos of the rising sun. We also took our daughter their evenings after 6pm and had a blast. Thanks for making your home clean and inviting.

Our stay at this wonderful home was everything we hoped for. My husband and I were celebrating our 40th birthdays (July 2010) and we wanted to stay somewhere special near the coast. This place was everything we were looking for! Comfort, space and very well cared for is only a few of the words I would use to describe it. Kennebunkport has lots of shopping, restaurants and nearby blueberry picking! Goose Rocks beach is only down the road and it has the best waves for swimming and boogie boarding. My kids loved it. This property is highly recommended for anyone with a large family or even two families to share; the home is very spacious. The owner is helpful and so pleasant to deal with. We are returning for another stay this summer!
