We had a wonderful time during our three week stay. The house is lovely with a gorgeous swimming pool whilst the location is a perfect place from which to explore Tuscany. Some of the best Italian vineyards are no more than a 15 minute drive away. The Johnston family including a young baby couldn't have been happier.

We returned from a wonderful week in this beautiful property right in the heart of Tuscany. We were able to visit many lovely spots in the mornings knowing that we could return to the amazing swimming pool to cool off and relax. The property is spacious and cool even though the temp outside was very hot. We had a wonderful week here and would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone!

We have been coming to Tuscany for many years and can honestly say we enjoyed our 2 week stay in this property as much as anywhere we have stayed previously. The house which is spacious, well appointed and elegantly furnished was very well suited to the varied demands of our extended family of 8. We were there in mid-August and it was comfortable, cool and very peaceful. The garden has a wonderful 'infinity' pool with views to Montalcino and a lovely patio with a barbecue for evening meals. Although the house adjoins other properties the neighbours were hardly ever in attendance and we had the pool to our selves almost all the time. We managed to visit most of the nearby towns where there are an abundance of excellent restaurants and markets. Nearby Buonconvento boasts an excellent gelateria for cooling off in the evenings and in Etruscan Muro you can watch the sun go down over the Crete Senese from the terrace of the local Pizzeria. Montalcino can rival any of the Tuscan Towns for its beautiful setting, rich history, and fine wine. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property and would gladly return ourselves.

Our week stay here was the highlight of our two week trip to Italy for my family group of 7, ranging in ages from 9 to 50 years. Every day there was something new and memorable to enjoy - the tranquility of Graniaolo itself, with it's spacious, comfortable rooms and the most beautiful ever swimming pool; startling the lizards sunning on the patio; exploring the surrounding country-side and near-by towns; the liveliness of Buonconvento on a summer evening. Our host really helped guide us to some terrific towns/restaurants/hikes, and the house has lots of written material for a range of activities and interests. We're already plotting our return visit...

Your house is lovely. We loved Buonconvento and Montalcino; my husband and I went to a jazz concert in the castle which was excellent. It couldn't have been better.

We had a wonderful time in Tuscany. The house was lovely - there was plenty of room for the 8 of us, and we were all amazed at how tranquil and peaceful the setting was.In summary we all loved the house and are very keen to return again.

We all had a wonderful time at your home in Tuscany - I didn't want to leave. We found horse-riding nearby and spent three hours hacking around the hills and forests nearby. The scenery is just amazing. We are already planning next year.

This villa and the surrounding area is most beautiful. Very comfortable to enjoy with fine amenities. The owner is very helpful with making your stay pleasant and informing you on how to get to the adjacent towns, recommendations for restaurants and all around hepful hints to visiting tourists. We would definitely recommend this sensational villa to all and the pool is so-so beautiful.

We've enjoyed 3 wonderful holidays at Granaiolo now and can honestly say they've been the best we've had! Stunning surroundings, very comfortable house, the most beautiful pool you'll ever swim in....and that's before you leave the house and get out in to the local area. Can't recommend it highly enough!
