The apartment "Tiberino", 100 sq mt, very spacious and luminous, is located in the Jewish Ghetto, in Piazza delle Cinque Scole, which is considered one of the most trendy and lively areas of Rome due to the myriad of restaurants, enoteche, bars, cafe on open air, artisans, and due to the location so close to Campo dei Fiori, Trastevere, Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia. The apartment, located at the mezzanine floor (not many climbing stairs) of a XVII Century building, is "brand new" (remodeling works finished Jan 2009) elegantly furnished with some modern and antiques furniture and is very well connected with public transportation to Central Termini Station. Belong to the property a fantastic big "secret" garden (is not accessible directly from the apartment, needs to go out the front door and use a next door private gate) where you can enjoy a glass of wine or just the greenery and the freshness of the palms....hard to believe that you are just in the very centre of ancient Rome....
The location is in the very heart of Rome Jews Ghetto and Rome's Jews have been living in this neighborhood for 22 centuries, giving birth to the only Jewish community to be present always in the same place before the Diaspora. At few steps from the apartment you will be able to visit the magnificent Synagogue, which was built from 1874-1904 and is a unique Persian and Babylonian architectural design, that contrasts with the rest of the city, like the next door ancient Theatre of Marcellus, which was build in honor of Marcus Marcellus, the nephew of Emperor Augustus. Crossing Ponte Fabricio you will reach in few minutes the trendy and lively Trastevere. All around the apartment you will find a myriad of restaurants, for any types of taste and budget, kosher restaurants (like the famous Gigetto al Portico d’Ottavia, famous for the 'Artichoke alla judia') Roman and ethnic restaurants, enoteche, bakery (don’t forget to taste the famous Pizza Giudia) and delicious gelato. The apartments are very well connected with public transportation to Central Termini Station (bus n. 64 and n. 40 stop in Largo Argentina) and from the Station a train or bus will connect you to Fiumicino or Ciampino Airport.
The apartment Tiberino 1 can be rented with the next door Tiberino 2, perfect for families or groups travelling together (accommodate up to 11/12 people)and each have 2 large bedrooms(in one of them is located an extra twin bed, and a sofa bed in the living room)2 complete bathrooms in each apartment (vc, sink, bidet, shower) plus 2 half bathrooms (vc sink)
Transportation from and to the airport can be organized.From Fiumicino Airport: up to 3 people € 50, 4/5 people €60 with mini van, 6/7 people € 70 with mini van, extra charge of € 5 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Driver will be out side the custom (no problem if your flight is not on time and run late) with the sign with your name and will take you directly to the apartment.
Clients are not allowed to exeed the number of guets specified in the resevation form, unless an agreement has been reached prior the guest's arrival.
Check in time at 12 p.m., check out on the day of departue at 10 a.m. (unless there has been a mutual agreement)Late check in: from 9 pm to 12pm extra € 25, from 12pm to 7am extra € 40
20% is request upon booking (bank transfer, Pay Pal) balance in cash at check in.Cancelletion Policy: up to 90 days prior to the arrival date, the entire deposit will be refunded, less Euro 15 for bank and postal fees
less than 90 days prior to the arrival date, there will be no refund, however we may consider your deposit toward another reservation during and exclusively the low season (Jan7/Feb29, Nov 6/Dec22) This option is valid only with in six months from the date of cancellation.

Positive Rating
As the first guest of Tiberino we would like to say we had a wonderful Roman vacation. This apartment is located in a very safe, quiet, and clean neighborhood. It is newly renovated and appointed with all the modern conveniences. It made us feel at home in Rome. This locatin is by far the best one could hope for. All of Rome is within walking distance, and we walked most of it. There is easy access to supermarket, street markets, bread, pastries, gelato and fabulous restaurants. We found the Italian people to be worm, welcoming, and friendly to us as guests. We are already planning our return and this will be our choice of accomodations. Rome is most definately "La Dolce Vita"!
