Our Ekolu condo offers all the comforts of home. It is a garden style, end unit that is private and peaceful, located on the 16th fairway of the Wailea Blue Golf Course. It is just a five minute drive or a leisurely ten minute walk from the beach and the Shops of Wailea. Ocean views and evening sunsets from the lanai are stunning, with Mount Haleakala rising in the distance. Breakfast on the lanai offers a tranquil retreat with panoramic views, singing birds, and lush greenery.
The condo has 1 large bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and 2 lanais. The living and dining areas are spacious and comfortably furnished, air conditioner, perfect for curling up with a good book or daydreaming over the ocean and mountain views. A 37" HDTV, CD and DVD player may also be found in the living room. A furnished lanai attached to the living room is perfect for a relaxing breakfast overlooking the ocean and golf course, or an intimate, secluded dinner in the evening breeze. The end-unit location of the condo within the complex ensures complete privacy while dining.
There is one fully furnished bedroom with a king-size bed, ceiling fan, and attached full bath. The bedroom features a small, private lanai in a beautiful garden setting. There is also a queen-size pull out sofa in the living room. The kitchen is well equipped, including all the conveniences of home, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and all utensils.
The 'lanai' is an open-sided patio, ideal for relaxing over a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail, overlooking the ocean and breathtaking evening sunsets. Savor the sunset and your meals outdoors on one of two well appointed lanais. The main lanai accessed from the living room overlooks the ocean and the 16th fairway of Wailea Blue’s Golf Course. Lounge chairs and a dining table with chairs are located on the main lanai. The second lanai is more private, accessed only from the bedroom.
There are two large swimming pools in the complex. The closest pool, located immediately behind the condo, is bordered by a grove of palm trees.
The Ekolu Village has barbecue areas overlooking the golf course and ocean, and two swimming pools all located in a garden setting. The condominium is about 2,500 feet from the beach, a 10-minute walk. Private parking is located right at the condominium entrance and there is adequate public parking at all five of the great Wailea Beach areas if you prefer to drive and take beach chairs, boogie board, beach towels and a picnic rather than walk to the beach. The Wailea golf courses extend a courtesy discount to our guests.
Wailea, located on the South and lea side of Maui, is 1,450 acres of relaxed and uncrowded beaches, shops, restaurants, tennis and golf snuggled into Maui's greenery. Surrounding the three championship Wailea golf courses is a distinctive community of condominium villages and luxury hotels. Eleven courts help make the Wailea Tennis Club Hawaii's most complete facility. Guests staying in our Wailea condominiums are given special discounts for golf. Wailea also offers a series of five crescent white sand beaches which are strung along a mile and a half of coastline. A myriad of water activities are available including swimming, snorkeling, wind-surfing, sailing and excursions to Molokini, a submerged volcano that is home to thousands of tropical fish. The resort's dining spots range from sun-drenched snack bars to award-winning fine dining restaurants. There is more entertainment at Wailea Shopping Village, an open, airy setting for shops and restaurants.

Why the Owner Chose Wailea Ekolu
Having stayed in Wailea for 15 years during holidays and running the Honolulu marathon, we decided to buy in Wailea. Our condo is located in the most beautiful part of Maui, Wailea, best weather and most sunshine, with many beautiful beaches, including "Makena Big Beach", surfing, the largest on the island, three golf courses, Wailea Gold, Blue and Emerald, tennis, pool right outside our front door, and many restaurants. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach, Shops of Wailea, and a 5 minute drive to Kihei, movie theatre, grocery store, many restaurants.

We are located on the 16th fairway of the Wailea Old Blue golf course, unobstructed view of the ocean from your lanai, 10 minute walk to the ocean, 5 minute drive, close to shopping, Maui municipal bus 5 minutes away, very quiet, ground floor unit, pool right outside our front door, parking 30 ft. from condo.

We fell in love with Hawaii and Maui since first running the Honolulu marathon in 1988. On impulse we bought our condo in late 1993 and have never looked back. We love running in the morning, swimming in the ocean, hiking and biking upcountry, bringing our kids and grandkids, golf, the laidback lifestyle, and escaping the Canadian winters in the Rockies near Banff, Alberta, but miss some skiing.
