It doesn't get any better than this. Our first floor, oceanfront condo is located just south of Myrtle Beach at Surfside. Known as the "Family Beach," Surfside does not allow high-rises, therefore reducing crowded beaches and traffic congestion.
Our Non-Smoking condo features its own private walkway to the beach, complete with shower and built-in benches for a perfect view of the sand and surf. Walkways to the beach for condominium units were outlawed years ago by the Coastal Council. Other than the three walkways located in our condominium complex, I'm not aware of any others on the entire Grand Strand. To escape from the beach, you can sit on our screened-in porch and relax in one of four cast aluminum swivel rocker chairs and let the porch fan cool you off.
Now come inside, it gets even better. Five years of intense renovations make for a very comfortable setting. The kitchen is completely new custom-built, solid pecan cabinets are accented by tile floors and countertops. All appliances are new and the convection oven, cooktop, dishwasher, and microwave are all from G.E.'s "priority series." The kitchen sink is Corian.
Our condo is fully furnished with all the comforts of home. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, cable TV, and ceiling fan along with wall mounted lamps for reading in bed. You also can view the beach from this bedroom or access the porch through sliding glass doors. The second bedroom also has a king bed and a ceiling fan. The sofa in the living room opens to a queen-size bed. Sofa, end tables, and matching chair are Henry Link wicker. Additionally this room has cable HD TV with DVD.
Both bathrooms are completely new, the master bath offers a large tiled shower, excellent water pressure and one of the best shower heads the market has to offer. You'll truly love this showering experience. The guest bath itself is unique and special. This bathroom features a claw footed sway back tub, so come in from a day of sun and fun, slide down and enjoy a long relaxing bath, one that only comes from a cast iron tub.
Our condominium offers one of the nicest and largest pools you will find for condominiums at Surfside.
Our HOA restrictions do not allow student groups. Pets are not allowed and violators are subject to eviction. We wish to keep our place non-smoking, so we ask that all guests who do smoke to do so on the porch, walkway or outside the condo.

My husband and I brought our two sons (7yrs & 3yrs) and we felt so much at home here. The condo was perfect and just as beautiful as the pictures.Every thing that we needed was there; the direct access to the beach was great to have with the little ones and the the beach was never crowded. It was a short walk to the pier and restaurants, Bubba's Fish Shack by the pier has great food. The sound of the ocean right outside at night is unbelievable! We did not want to leave but we will come here again soon! Would recommend this condo to anyone-the owners were great!

This is the best vacation rental out there! The pictures do no justice, you have to see it to appreciate it. The owner goes above and beyond to accomodate us every way possible. We have stayed at this condo for the past three years and have absolutely loved it! We have two kids, so it is perfect for our needs and close to all major attractions and eating places. The condo is always very clean and the private walkway to the beach just can't be beat! The owner is always a pleasure to deal with and I feel goes above and beyond to meet your needs. We would definately recommend this property to any of our family or friends. I don't think you can ask for a better place to stay right on the beach!!

This was our first trip to Myrtle Beach and we loved it. The condo is just as described and is very clean and well maintained. The private walkway to the beach was such a plus. We had our 2 and 3 year old daughters with us and it made it so easy to set up each day on the beach and go back and forth to the condo with the girls. I am so glad we found this place. We'll be back again.

Thoughts of the beach for weary snowbirds consists of sunshine, soft ocean breezes and long walks along beautiful beaches with not a single snow shovel in sight! Add to that the PERFECT getaway beach location. Keep in mind, we write this review to our possible detriment. If more people discover how truly wonderful our beach getaway actually is, then that increases the possibility that more people are going to want to experience it too leaving less available weeks for us. We might need to reconsider this review. Spectacular sunrise viewing, conveniently located, beautifully decorated, perfectly maintained and a sense that love has been tucked away in every corner for each visitor to enjoy. Southern charm and hospitality and its absolute finest.

This was my and my 6-year-old daughter’s first visit Surfside Beach. As soon as she entered the home she turned around and said "mom, can we live here forever!" Once you enter the home, you are greeted with a magnificent view of the ocean. The home is located just footsteps away from the beach, and the private walk is, in my daughter words "easy cheesy" access to the surf and sand. Many charming restaurants are within walking distance to the home and Myrtle Beach is a short drive. The home is well maintained and very clean. Everything listed in the description and photos of the property are just the beginning of the charm of this unit. The owners were quick to respond to my email request for a seafood restaurant recommendation. We will definitely return to our new favorite beach house! Thank you Strib and Barbara for opening your home. This opportunity allowed my daughter and me to make some wonderful beach memories.

Mr Barton,We just finished another wonderful week at your condo. As always, it was very clean and well maintained. Each year there are new updates to the unit that we look foward to.
