Located in a private gated community in Playa Negra, the house is surrounded by tropical landscape and palms, has private access to an isolated quiet beach with spectacular tide pools and snorkeling.
A short walk down the beach takes you to the famous surf spot of Playa Negra. A 4th level sky deck offers panoramic views of the coast line, unforgettable sunsets and incredible star gazing.
The upper level of this beachfront home has two master bedroom suites with queen beds, spacious bath rooms and private decks overlooking the pool and Pacific Ocean. The front entry and mid level is a panoramic delight with floor to vaulted ceiling windows on both sides giving you full ocean views to the west and majestic mountain views to your east. The main living area, overlooks the ocean and swimming pool, has a half bath powder room, an open fully equipped kitchen and grand dining room that seats 8 or more.
With 4 large sliding glass doors that open out to the deck where the pool is located you have spectacular ocean views from any seat in the house. This mid level also has a 3rd bedroom suite with a queen bed, full bath and opens to the pool area with ocean views. On the ground level is a game room with a ping pong table and wet bar, laundry room, a 4th large bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds, full bath and a large 2 car garage. An outside shower, patio furniture, swimming pool and A/C throughout the house makes this an ideal indoor outdoor “pura vida” vacation home.
Amenities include: on site property management who can assist with all aspects of your vacation including personal pick up at airport, rental car brought to the house, grocery shopping, arranging tours, etc. Ask about discounted golf, and in home massage. There is A/C throughout the house, Satellite TV, Phone, DVD and VHS machine, Swimming Pool, Sky Deck, Laundry room (personal laundry service is additional charge), Game Room, Ceiling fans, fully equipped Kitchen, Microwave, Dishwasher, large 2-car garage, gas BBQ, Alarm, and daily maid service available.

What a GREAT place, GREAT trip and such fun memories! We all hope to be able to come back every year around the same time and experience all of the festivities that take place for the New Year! Nothing better than leaving 30 degree weather to experience 7 days of fun in the SUN! Not only were the house and the surrounding great but Jarrod and Meghan are there for your every waking needs! They certainly go above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of, happy and have all of their needs met! This was one of the best trips to Costa Rica that we have EVER been on and look forward to many more years of creating great memories for our children, parents and friends!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children.

Amazing....the only word I can use to describe our experience when we rented Casa Somos Uno in Play Negra, Costa Rica. The accommodations were everything we expected and more. The ocean view from the house was unforgettable as well as the snorkeling. The food and quaint shops in Playa Negra were great. When we were planning our vacation to Costa Rica, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had heard many great things about the lushness and beauty of the land, as well as the serenity of the ocean, and could not wait to get there to relax and begin our two week vacation. I must admit that when we arrived, we were amazed, even more so than we had imagined. The weather was wonderful, beaches were amazing, and the locals were more than friendly and welcoming. But when we finally arrived to Casa Somos Uno, I was blown away with what we were greeted with. In addition to the wonderful accommodations you had provided, which greatly exceeded our expectations- in the house itself we had a combination of spectacular views and modern amenities. We were greeted with this amazing place with everything we could ever need or want right at our fingertips. This included concierge service, activity planning, massages, convenient beach access, pool, beautiful scenery, etc. Jarrod, you and your staff went above and beyond to make our vacation the best it could possibly be. The sheer convenience of Casa Somos Uno and your warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We are frequent travelers, who have been to many amazing places, and can honestly say that our experience in Costa Rica was by far one of our favorites. What we liked most about Casa Somos Uno was the unbelievable view of the ocean right out of our balcony, waking to the sound of the ocean each morning, and feeling as if it were all ours!
