This is a wonderful location for a family vacation. A short walk takes you to a private beach where you can swim and dive off the rocks. You can kayak along the coast in safe waters. There are a number of beaches nearby should you want to explore. There are walks around a quaint New England village and plenty of privacy at the house for reading and relaxing. This is a place where you can really get away from too much hustle and bustle and yet be very near to Gloucester and Rockport, communities filled with artists, music, theater and a lot of history and some very good restaurants.

Security Deposit $300
Security deposit will be returned if cancellation is made up to one month before
reserved dates or if house can be rented for the same period. Within one month,
one half of security deposit will be returned.
Final payment due two weeks before rental. Paypal accepted.

Private beach within 5 minutes walking distance, private setting away from the road with views of the water, located in unique village with pleasant walks and no traffic. 15 minutes from Gloucester with its art, theater and history as a fishing port. About an hour from Boston and not much more to Portsmouth, NH. Great location for summer vacationing. Lots to do in the area.

We've stayed here twice, and both times have been perfect. The house is comfortable, cozy, and nicely appointed. The yard is a child's dream, and the short walk to the Lighthouse Beach (or "the Magical Beach" as my kids started to call it) makes this the perfect spot for a comfortable, serene, yet fun family vacation. The house also has a lovely view! The landlord is very attentive and thoughtful. We count our time at this house as two of our best family vacations ever!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Stayed here with a group of college friends for a reunion weekend and could not have been happier with the home and local. The house is spacious with room to sleep 8 easily. It's clean and decorated with antiques to give it a true New England feel. The house has all the amenities one could expect. Although we did not do much cooking at the house, the kitchen is well equipped with everything one would need for any kind of cooking. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and took a walk down one morning and one of our group is a runner and she enjoyed a nice run to Gloucester both mornings of our stay. We had a great time staying in this home, would highly recommend it, and would certainly stay here again if the occasion arises. Thanks so much for making your home available! The owner made us feel very welcome
