New historic Chess Loft condo is ideal for conventioneers and vacationers. Condo is located just one block north from McCormick Place and a twelve-minute walk to Soldier Field, Grant Park, The Museum, and Shed Aquarium. Condo is located on the top floor with spectacular views of the convention center. The building was the former location of Chess Recording label's corporate headquarters home of Chicago blues artists like Muddy Waters, Etta James and Chuck Berry.

Building features a secured entrance, ample parking and an open kitchen with stainless steel appliances to accent the matching maple cabinets and hardwood floors. Granite countertops add further to the ambiance. Soundproofed floors keep outside noise to a minimum. Rooms are furnished with Room and Board furniture.

Cleaning service can be provided every other night for an additional $45.00 per occurrence.

  • I am a hero. My pal was attending a conference at McCormick Place which is at most a 4 minute walk away and she simply loved the comfort and accessibility of the place. So much better than a hotel. On arrival Al gave us a brief run down of the place and how the Internet and the monster TV worked. He thoughtfully supplied start up supplies (milk, sugar, salt, basic spices, fruit and a bottle of wine so we didn't have to rush out to be equipped. The kitchen with it's gas stove and granite surfaces is great. Every tool you could possibly use is there. Comfortable bed, big bathroom with a shower/bath combination, great sheets and towels. There is also a good quality washer and and excellent dryer too. We walked to the park that had all the museums. Buses regularly go by on Michigan Avenue which is a two minute walk away. You can also easily flag a cab on this street too. This place is very quiet too. There weren't any reviews which was a concern but this web site has a guarantee aspect which we used. No problems though and we would both recommend this flat for a short or a long-term stay. Excellent 4 stars
