The Westin Kaanapali Villas North is a fabulous way to spend vacation. The beautiful resort is in the middle of Kaanapali with all of the wonderful dining, shopping, and exploring so close by. But, the resort remains a quiet, lovely place to escape away from the busy crowds. You don't need to leave the tranquility of the resort to enjoy the beautiful beaches... snorkeling off the beach, fishing, whale watching, shell hunting. Kids love going from the many pools, to the beach and back again. My kids love playing in the pool, while we prepared our own dinner pool-side.
The Westin units are set up as a 2 bedroom lockout. One side has a living area with a queen size sleep sofa, full kitchen, master bedroom with a king size bed. The bathroom is accessible from the master bedroom or the foyer. A large lanai is accessible from the living area or the master bedroom. The foyer contains the washer/dryer and a door that connects to the adjacent studio. The studio has either a king or a queen bed, plus a full size sleep sofa. The kitchenette contains a full size fridge, microwave, sink, and small stove. There is a whirlpool tub in the master bath and the washer/dryer is located in the foyer.
The Westin Kids Club does a wonderful job so mom and dad can have some quiet time together. My girls loved making flower leis at the kids club and wearing them to dinner that night. My older son enjoyed teen night with movies and snacks. The villas are spacious and well equipped. There is plenty of room for extended family or friends. With the washer/dryer, we don't have to over pack for our vacation. This is our favorite place to go.
The Westin is so well planned that every room has a beautiful view. All rooms overlook the Westin gardens, mountains, or ocean. Parking is set off to the side so that it does not invade anyone's view. The staff here is knowledgeable and helpful, full of the "Aloha Spirit".
From the beach, there is a view of Black Rock to the left. the snorkeling is great right off the beach. Do bring water shoes though as the coral can be sharp once you are past the breakers.

Our family is from the east coast. We have 3 children, all active in various sports. We live on the water, and all enjoy boating, fishing and crabbing.
Why the Owner Chose Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North
My husband travels frequently... all over the world. His favorite place to visit is Maui. That is why we purchased a timeshare in Maui at the Westin. We love to visit in the winter and get a little taste of summer. We have seen the whales many times, but my kids are still amazed by these huge animals. A big favorite on the last visit was snorkeling with the turtles at Turtle Reef!!
