Built in 1890 by McKinnen, one of the founders of Iron River, and is located on the Historic Register. Original wood work throughout and beautiful winding staircase with ornate detail to the banister and spindles. There are two units so if you want to rent both you could.
If you are snowmobiling it is a great location only a half a block from the more than 200 miles of trails and the gas station is 1 block away. Close to bars, restaurants, grocery store, and shopping. Only 5 minutes from Ski Brule.

Why the Owner Chose Iron River
We chose to buy the Iron River Escape because of it being located only a 1/2 a block from the Snowmobile, ATV, Walking Trail by the Iron River, a blue ribbon trout stream. Only a block from the grocery store, restaurants, and a gas station. The house was built in 1890 by a man that help found Iron River and is on the historic register. Beautiful winding staircase and old dark wood work throughout. Great place to call home away from home while playing in the Upper Peninsula.
